According to Jayne's post, there's no name listed on the website where these were found, and they're not claimed to be JC. But really, all you have to do is listen. If this *isn't* JC, it's the most gifted impressionist I've ever heard.
"One Night Stand" pays homage to both Smokey Robinson and Donna Summer, and overall, a nod to Prince's "Gett Off." JC, I love your musical little brain.
And the curls are back!!! Oddly enough, I wondered earlier inloveisimmortal's journal whether the curls meant that the JC solo promo machine was about to switch into gear. And now album leaks. You can't tell me the two aren't related.
Aiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! It's gonna happen! Really gonna happen!

A. promosquad is separated into six main areas: The Promosquad Jukebox (rate new music), Promote Artists, Get Famous, Promosquad Interactive, Prize Store, and the Message Boards.
The Promosquad Jukebox (rate new music)
Listen to and rate new music. Your opinions and votes really matter and music artists and record labels pay attention and use this feedback in making critical decisions about their new releases.
Promote Artists
Play a part in helping to promote the latest records released by today’s newest and hottest artists by doing things like requesting their songs at radio, MTV, BET, and by spreading the word about them by sending people to their websites….plus you get the chance to win points that you can cash in for prizes, and also win great contests too! Promote new music both in your town, and on the Internet!
Get Famous
Know someone that deserves to be the next famous music star? Maybe it’s you, or your cousin’s band, or that great group you caught at a show last weekend. Well this is the place to tell us about them. It’s easy …submit your favorites, and you could be on your way to landing them a real record deal and a thousand dollar finder's fee for yourself in the process.
Promosquad Interactive
The place to go for polls, music news, gossip, countdown charts, and more.
Prize Store
This is where you can cash in your points for great prizes like the latest CDs, electronics, and other one of a kind items directly from the record labels.
Message Boards
Where do you go to hang out with the rest of the promosquad community? Right here….voice your opinions, share info, ask some questions, whatever you want…it’s open for you 24/7!
Q. “How do you get points?”
A. You get points by participating in many of the things described in the last answer. Promote artists, rate songs in the jukebox, participate in a poll, find a hot new band….they all get you certain amounts of points that you can then cash in for prizes!
Q. “How long does it take to get my prize?”
A. Please always allow up to six weeks for prizes to arrive at your door. While many items may be in stock in our warehouse, we do get back ordered occasionally. You may keep track of your current orders by clicking on the “my stats” section of the site at any time.
Q. “How often do you add new songs to rate in the jukebox?”
A. We load new songs into the promosquad jukebox all the time! If you find that you have completed rating the existing songs, don’t wait too long to come back and check for more….chances are good that within a few hours there will be more stuff there for you too listen to and vote on.
Q. “How do you keep track of my points?”
A. Actually, everything you do at promosquad is tracked because you create a unique ID when you pick your username. Every time you rate a song, participate in a poll, submit a news story, etc…we make sure it is you that gets credited because of your unique ID.
Q. “How did you come up with such a totally cool concept?”
A. Many of the people that work here have worked in the music business for years at record companies, radio stations, and recording studios. We know the most important things are finding great music and promoting it. We always knew that the best way to do this would be by putting the job directly in the hands of the fans. At promosquad you’ll make a real difference in the music industry by finding new talent, helping labels to pick singles and artists, and finally by helping to break those artists in your market. We just figured it was time for you to be more in control.
