According to Jayne's post, there's no name listed on the website where these were found, and they're not claimed to be JC. But really, all you have to do is listen. If this *isn't* JC, it's the most gifted impressionist I've ever heard.

"One Night Stand" pays homage to both Smokey Robinson and Donna Summer, and overall, a nod to Prince's "Gett Off." JC, I love your musical little brain.

And the curls are back!!! Oddly enough, I wondered earlier in loveisimmortal's journal whether the curls meant that the JC solo promo machine was about to switch into gear. And now album leaks. You can't tell me the two aren't related.

Aiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! It's gonna happen! Really gonna happen!

Yes, it is intruiging that the "leaks" are only clips of songs and not whole songs.

Cannot WAIT for this album. When's it supposed to drop? August? Did it get moved back?

I think the newest date we've heard is Sept. 9th. I wonder though, if the links will help push it back to its original drop date...? Do things like that happen?

I'm swooning, here. My love for JC is intense and scary, and thank goodness there are other people who feel the same way. ;-)

They do actually. I know there have been a few artists who've pushed their release dates up because material's been leaked on the net.

That's right, I forgot about that. Eminem did that last year, didn't he? Like, moved the date up a couple of weeks, or a week or so because the album leaked early?

A million thank you's to whoever leaked these clips. I've got my money on Dallas or Carlos. ;-)

Eminem did it, and 50 Cent did it, too, just this past February. The only difference is that their stuff was leaked much closer to the actual album release, usually just a two weeks or a month before (we won't go into the fact that this was originally when it was supposed to come out anyway).
