Non-spoilery comment: So, I watched the latest America's Best Dance Judge Crew and honestly, what the hell is Lil Mama's deal? It'd be nice if she concentrated on giving her own damn crit (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...yeah) instead of constantly reassuring the contestants that JC is wrong and everything they're doing is just fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

Spoilery comment: JC nailed it when he said he couldn't figure out what the hell the crates had to do with basketball. Because, WOW, that routine was a complete mess. Lil Mama, of course, had to say that she loved the crates and thought they were fabulous. I think she *does* think the title of the show is America's Best Dance Judge and that she's it. What an incredibly silly cow she is.

Shane, the poor befuddled sweetie, holy bejeebus, someone needs to pass him some safety scissors and glitter because he's clearly on the wrong show. I know Wade done La Timberlake wrong and all that, but I'd KILL to have him on the judging panel. JC would probably seem like pushover in comparison.

Also, I can't believe Fysh-N-Chicks won AGAIN. What the hell?

In conclusion: In fanfic terms, Shane clearly hangs out at fanfiction.net and leaves squeeful comments no matter HOW awful the story is. Every now and then he'll admit a bit of confusion over a mangled sentence, but mostly he thinks all the stories are fabulous, and everyone deserves cake and cookies and hugs just for posting! No punctuation? Horrific grammar? Stop harshing his squee!

In fanfic terms, Lil Mama is the person who repeats (and sometimes blenderizes) comments of people who've left comments ahead of her. Every now and then she'll mix it up by saying, "Great story, but it could be better," without actually offering any advice on how this could be achieved. If she sees concrit in the comment above hers, she'll add an additional comment saying that [fill in the blank] totally worked for her, and the story was the best thing EVAR.

In fanfic terms, JC is the BNF that everyone wants to have beta their stuff, but they're terrified to approach. He'll tell you honestly what works and what doesn't -- if you're just there for fluffy hand-holding, you're wasting his time. If he's left a positive comment for your fic, you get all trembly and weak-kneed and squeeful because OMG, JC LOVED MY STORY! and then you have to email your friends to tell them about it because clearly, JC is completely awesome and knows his shit.

Someone in another post wondered if JC was maybe channeling some offscreen troubles might be adding to his pissiness, but I don't get that vibe. I think he's just taking this very seriously and he's actually trying to be helpful to the crews and not popular with the viewers, like Lil Mama. She's truly 18 shades of annoying.

The best thing though, is I think the dancers realize JC is awesome and knows his shit! They all seem to have tremendous respect for him and truly take what he says to heart. They like the happy-happy comments of the other people, because, hey, who doesn't? But they know when they fuck up and they know when they don't bring something, and JC calls them on it, and they love him for it.

Also, I am so laying money that the second this is over, he hires Kaba Modern for his next video (whenever that is), and shows up with at least one--if not all three--of the chicks on his arm at some event or other. ;)

I hope so! Cookies and squee are well and good, but if you're trying to win a competition, actual suggestions for ways to improve your routine are a hell of a lot more useful than a pat on the head and a bucket of hugs.

I bet he was. I seem to recall a group interview that suggested that he was a complete and total perfectionist in the studio -- and not necessarily in a fun way. Sadly, I've read so many interviews there's no way I'd ever be able to find the one I'm thinking of.

Did you see that he went to NASCAR with Chase this weekend? There's a picture of Chase behind JC in the security line at the airport. JC is bending over showing off his underwear, and Chace is stretching and looking adorably sleepy/pissed off behind him.

OMG. I love this. Anyone who has watched this POS is nodding until their head falls off. The weird thing is that Shane is nothing like this on So You Think You Can Dance. I've watched him through their audition process and he is as normal *and* honest as JC is on this show. It's the weirdest thing. And I was surprised to read that Shane is two years OLDER than JC so he should be just fine with critiquing kids 10 years younger than he is.

And BNF!JC is my new best thing ever. If he doesn't pull off Lil Mama's wig at least once before this thing is over, I'll be terribly disappointed. ;-)

She is the worst judge ever!!!! How old is she anyway for her to be an expert judge on a dance show!!! She ruins it I literally change the channel when she speaks. Plus the fact that she sounds so "hood" when she speaks people need to get over that just because your a hip-hop artist there is a time and a place...Kanye doesn't speak that way, Lupe, Jay etc. It's not cool at all you need to know when to turn it on and when to turn it off. Oh, look at that while I was typing this her career was already over LOL
