Yes, I must admit that I enjoyed the episode. Self-contained enough that I wasn't scratching my head wondering what was going on, but enough backstory tossed in to make me curious about what's come before.

Probably wouldn't slash the Winchesters, but I see the appeal. Attractive but not overly-pretty men locked in brotherly angst! Road trips! Shared rooms! Guns! Dood, I totally see the appeal.

Also, I've always loved the 'devil at the crossroads' mythos, so that was a treat; I'm totally convinced that Justin Timberlake found a crossroads of his own in some Tennessee backwoods. ;-)

Soopernatchul! I think I've finally gotten a piece of CW crack to call my own. Oh, the shame of it all.

And to echo what the others have said above...give it a few more episodes. Heh. Particularly if you start from the beginning; it doesn't take long to see it. I think it took me...three or four eps to be completely sold.

Hahahahahahahaha, I'm sure I'll see it with my second episode. My slash goggles be powerful ones, I think I just need to clean the lenses. ;-)

It's funny, isn't it? Rewatching old shows with my new (well, 12 yr-old *g*) slash goggles makes things interesting *g*
