Happy JuC Day 2006! FIC: Something Different

First off, Happy JuC Day! Sings: It's the most wonderful time of the year... My apologies to the songwriter. Anyway! JuC Day means JuC fic!

This is new only in the sense that no one has ever read it. It's a longish part of something that was supposed to be much, much, much longer, something I realize now will probably never be finished. It stands on its own though, so here it is. The story takes place on the night of Justin's solo performance at the VMAs.

I taped it when it was on, but I'm not sure where it is. I watched it when I was writing Skin and Teeth, but I still have no idea what JC was thinking. There's a couple of moments like that that interest me. One of the other ones is an awards show, I can never remember which one, although it's what this icon is from, that Justin, JC and Chris accepted an award for, and JC was trying to get a sentence out and he was taking forever and Chris interrupted him. The look on JC's face as he stepped back to let Chris talk kills me and makes me want to know what went on in the limo afterwards.
