LJ experiment - and fic!

So, a few weeks ago I posted this in my journal, about writing a story where JC and Justin were having, to quote Chris in Rhys' Irreplaceable, "a private love affair."

And in email to Scotty about two seconds ago, I wrote, "The phrasing of that just slugged me in the head and wouldn't let me go. I'd love to write a story like that, where Justin and JC being together was just that, a private love affair. I can't even articulate how gorgeous I think that is."

What follows is my attempt to tell that story.

Actually, a teasy/snippety first part. :-D I'm working on the second now. Since my original LJ experiment story seems to be turning into an epic (well, by my sort epic standards, anyway), this is my new LJ experiment story. I'd like to have the second part done in the next couple of days.

Glad you liked it! Chris is a good third party, because he seems like he'd dig in his heels and poke around until he got the answers he was looking for. ;-)

oooh yes. i like a really lot.

your descriptions of what Chris is hearing are wonderful...i was actually visualisig JC punching his pillow as i read it. (or that could me just being a freak, because for some reason that part really jumped out at me. the...atmosphere of it...Chris hearing it down the end of the phone.) but yeah...the flutter of the sheets, the thump of his jeans on the floor...his voice wavering as he walked up the stairs....all good, good stuff. really got my brain ticking over.

can't wait to read more.

In the background, so faintly he almost didn't catch it, he heard the splash of water from the bathroom off JC's bedroom, followed by the sound of someone clearing their throat a little. A male someone. "Long night in a good way," JC answered softly, and Chris heard the smile in his voice.

You're absolutely right, the idea of them having a secret love affair is *very* sexy. Also? I keep finishing this scene on JC's end of the line in my head, so you'd better write more or... or I'll just write it myself! (Okay, not really, but are my threats working, huh, huh?!)
