Gone! ROFL!!!
Mar. 27th, 2002 11:30 pmOur young neighbors occasionally have inconsiderate friends who ride up with their tunes blasting - the youth of today. Damn kids!
So someone just pulled in across the street, bass thumping in an odd kind of da-dump slow beat. I'm like, what the hell? Damn kids! The car door opens, I can hear it a little better (but still all da-dump bass, ya know), and then I hear His Little Voice - it's the Gone remix!
I'm seriously laughing my ass off that the little surburban baby gangstas across the street are listening to NSync! Probably the radio, but that makes it even better, doesn't it? 'Cause it's BabyGangsta!Justin on the radio! I'm finding so much amusement from this that I cannot express it properly.
And naturally, once I recognize what's playing, they turn the radio off. I ask you, the one time I'm actually eager to put up with an inconsiderate ass blasting his thumping stereo at 11:30 at night, they go and get civic-minded on me.
Yes, much with the laughter. I feel like I should be pinching their cheeks, or something.
And, woohoo! New friends! I'm lovin' life.
