Stubborn fic cries 'Uncle'!
Apr. 3rd, 2002 09:25 pmHah! Yes, I'm pleased to announce that I've put the smackdown on my fic; the next part of Chasez Lake has crumbled at my feet, has bent to my will. It's like two paragraphs from finished - finished, as in the story is complete from beginning to end. Now the fun part, editing and fleshing out and more editing. But, mwahahahahaha! I've been blocked forever, and I'm finally free! Yes, I am pleased.
Woohoo! New friends! Again, I am pleased. They all seem like very cool people, which is always good.
Again with Gone! Driving home the other day with the radio set to scan; it seeks and plays about 4 seconds of each station it encounters and moves on, which is about the only way I can listen to the radio these days. Anyway, it's scanning and I hear Gone. Woohoo! I let it play, then realize Justy's warbling over the urban station! I kept waiting for the DJ, just for the fun of hearing him say it was NSync, but they must have announced it before playing. So I hit scan again, just in time to catch BBB on another station. It was a good drive home. :-)
And spare me, please, from men who think women are stupid. I got so fed up with some ignoramus today at work (after calmly and politely putting him in his place), that I went home early.
I couldn't believe the kindergarten-level email message I got from this guy - with about ten people copied on it, naturally - that I couldn't see straight. So after I wrote him back, with his intended audience copied, as well, I packed up my crap and went home. What a freakin' idiot.
I'm so tired that I could drop. Really want to officially finish the fic tonight, but I don't know if I'll last that long. You are getting sleepy, very sleepy...
