JC's single (and album) pushed back *again*???

Haven't seen this on my friends list yet, and I almost hate to post it. Yes, once again diving into the JJB so you don't have to. Not so happy news, unfortunately. PopCultMistress has been realiable in the past with inside info, though. Hope her sources wrong this time. :-(

Under the subject header I Thought JC's First Single Would Have Leaked By Now, dated today:

"I just tried to get it off a friend at MTV but no one is giving up any news. EDIT: She just got back to me and said its been pushed back as well as the album but no one knows the release date. Take from that what you will."

And a little later she posted this...

"She said the single pushed back from August 11 to don't know when. They have no plans to put it on MTV at the moment. She runs the daily content for TRL. She would know. Honestly she would."

Friggin' oy.

Well, Monday's just on the horizon, so the light at the tunnel hasn't completely been snuffed out. Yet. *sob*

I'm keeping a happy thought, hoping the source was wrong, or at least misinformed.

This solo stuff and waiting is just too hard. Maybe I'll be an Aaron Carter fan for awhile...

You know, AC fans probably get employee benefits and a company bigw heel. Hmm, well he does tour constantly and there's like gotta be a stipulation in his contract that he release an album a year, because dude churns 'em out like nothing.

Hopefully this speculated backlog for JC's solo LP means the quality will be [that much] better. ;-)
