Haven't seen this on my friends list yet, and I almost hate to post it. Yes, once again diving into the JJB so you don't have to. Not so happy news, unfortunately. PopCultMistress has been realiable in the past with inside info, though. Hope her sources wrong this time. :-(

Under the subject header I Thought JC's First Single Would Have Leaked By Now, dated today:

"I just tried to get it off a friend at MTV but no one is giving up any news. EDIT: She just got back to me and said its been pushed back as well as the album but no one knows the release date. Take from that what you will."

And a little later she posted this...

"She said the single pushed back from August 11 to don't know when. They have no plans to put it on MTV at the moment. She runs the daily content for TRL. She would know. Honestly she would."

Friggin' oy.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

I know. Is that complete and utter crap, or what? How many date changes does that make, eleventy-hundred? I swear, I wish I knew who to blame for this one, because I'd sink my canines into his/her jugular.

This is beyond ridiculous.

I don't believe it yet. I refuse to believe it yet.

So there. Take that.

(Honestly, I can handle waiting longer but all of the date changes make me nervous for him and what it can do to his album.)

You've hit the nail on the head.

It's got to be frustrating for JC. The thing was finished how long ago? Then all the hoohah with the record company label moving thing, and he knocks 'em dead at the showcase and he knows he's going to kill...and now this. Jeebus.

And what's really pissing me off is, by the time [whoever's making these jackass decisions] decides it's time for the album to be released, will anyone even care?

If this keeps up, I fear for the tone future news releases are going to take. "The fifth release date has been set for JC Chasez's solo CD. Industry insiders wonder if the album will ever see the light of day."

Not good.

Modifying my response to say, yes, his fans will care. But someone seems to be squandering any momentum JC might have going at the moment. Jesus, drop the album already, and quit jerking us around!

Yow, I'm a little more pissed off than I thought. I think someone needs a time out.

This is awful! I get all excited, then they postpone again. ug.

I am just trying to believe that they keep pushing it back to increase the *quality* of what is released. But, I am starting to doubt it.

And it keeps getting closer to the time that NSYNC is supposed to be in the studio...oh the drama. I just can't handle it.

Yep, another reason I'm all a-flutter. The NSync album, and how it will probably take precedence if his album gets pushed back much further.

My head hurts.
