Have you ever had your insides scooped out with a dull spoon and then had ice shoved in the gaping wound? Yeah, it felt a little like that.
I knew JC wouldn't ever look at me the way he looks at Justin, but it was still hard, you know? We're always saying we're "the best buddies ever!", but Timberlake's never thought to buy *me* a house!
Anyway, I thank God every day - hey! I sound like a football player! - but I do, I thank God every day for Lance. He's nobody's substitute, and I love him like crazy. Besides, I really had been checking out his ass for a while. ;-) We're a good fit; he's sneaky and I'm evil, so it's all good.
But to answer your question, when I saw the deed, I just. Yeah. It was hard.
Did you think that you would end up with Lance? Or was he a pleasant surprise?

So yeah, I'd been checking Lance out, and I already knew JC was a lost cause. I think he and Justin were set aside for each other at birth, or something.
It was a surprise, though. A *very* pleasant surprise. You know how it is, sometimes you're not sure about the signals? And you're both kind of stupid? That's me and Bass. ;-)
