I should be in Miami, dammit. ;-(

So, I saw this post on the JJB this morning. As others have noted, Tony Lucca announced at a show last night that he's touring with JC this fall, and that JC stole one of his guitar players for the tour band. ;-) Squee!

Popped out on my friends list and saw a few people wondering if Tony might be talking out of his ass. Tony doesn't seem the type to flap his lips for nothing, so I've got to believe that it's true.

JC. This fall. Maybe, maybe, maybe coming to my town, or close enough for a road trip. Cleveland? Chicago? Woohoo! I'm *so* there. If he comes to town I've told an O-Town loving friend that she's going with me. I forwarded the JC-in-traffic pics to her, and she agrees that he's a hottie. She seemed not too put out when I told her that the tour looks like a certainty. I daresay she seemed a little excited. Tomorrow I'll give her my CDs, complete with listening lists. I'm crossing my fingers that she's a convert. ;-) Oooh, I need to order Tony's CD...

To everyone lucky enough to be heading to Challenge: Have fun. Take pictures. Take notes. ;-)

I can't imagine that Tony would say this shit if he didn't have real reason to believe it.

Exactly. I know that JIVE blows as much smoke up certain orifices as they can get away with, but I don't think Tony would pass anything along to his fans that wasn't at least 98% solid.

That said, I also know plans can change.

True enough, but (and isn't this a sad state of affairs), I'm more inclined to believe this kind of info when it's coming from Tony than from anyone else who isn't JC. Not that the guys lie, but I think the NSync camp wants to keep the buzz out there for fans, and may jump the gun on things in order to do that.

Personally, I don't know if I'll survive a solo tour so I'm just sitting here patiently waiting for official confirmation.

I don't know if I'll survive, either, but I'm ready! I'd love to catch three or four shows in the area, if possible. I've got six weeks of vacation so time off shouldn't be a problem. I'll have to see how the money situation shapes up, though.

Eeeee! A mini-tour groupie! Well, that's the plan, anyway. We'll see what happens...
