The LJ popstars fake!JC, fake!Chris and fake!Lance are seriously aggravating me, here. When I read fake!JC's latest entry, I just *knew* something irritating was about to happen, and voila! it did. Grrrr! I shall now stop reading until some kind person on my friends list tells me that LJ fake!JC, fake!Chris and fake!Lance are back together and happy and the current madness has passed. I was seriously enjoying it, too.

So, that whacked out herb book I bought? Here's the title, should anyone want to look it up:
Healing with Herbs A-Z, by Hanna Kroeger
A blurb from the inside of the book: This book is not intended as a substitute for proper medical care.
It then goes on to disclaim liability, etc. incurred as a result of use or application of the contents of the book. That said, I'm disclaiming my ass too, here.
I'll start with one of the safer remedies:
Anorexia Nervosa (refusal to eat, causing severe weight loss):
Possible zinc deficiency. Home remedies: Good sources of zinc are lean meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, peas, lima beans, egg yolks, brewer's yeast, wheat germ, milk, and yogurt. Cloves help to stimulate the appetite, making it easier to recover. Rub your earlobes several times a day.
Who'd a thunk it; the cure for anorexia is...food! On a more humorous note...
Anus, biting:
Home remedies: Peony (Paeonia officinalis) tea
My first question, of course, is what the hell is "biting anus"? If anyone out there knows what this is, please do enlighten me.
