Question! What do you write to? (The cat has commandeered my keyboard, so this post is *much* shorter than I'd intended.)

I used to write to music, but I can't anymore. I tried classical or new age. When I used to write at work (on my break!) and my co-workers were too noisy, I'd put on my Walkman, tune the radio between channels and listen to white noise. Or anything similiar to white noise, as long as it's instrumental and has no percussion.

Hmmmm, that's an interesting idea, I might try it. I can't write to anything too frenetic. I used to write to Dave Matthews, but now I find the horn section annoying, which is too bad, 'cuz otherwise it's good stuff for writing.
