- What song are you currently addicted to?
Currently...? Hmmmm. I'm a little addicted to Hothouse Flowers' Home. Love, love, love.

- What books are you currently reading?
Haven't started anything new, but I just finished The True Meaning of Smekday, but Adam Rex. OH MY GOD, cutest thing ever. Funny and clever, and sweetly illustrated. Reminded me a bit of Christopher Moore's style. I highly recommend it.

- What's the funniest thing you did today?
As is our usual custom, my lunch bud and I cracked ourselves up discussing various and sundry things. A male co-worker was recently involved in a kerfuffle involving a teeny peener, so I suggested we go say hello and as we walked by, use the time-tested dangling pinky hand gesture known by all to symbolize diminutive junk. AND! We laughed ourselves crazy at "junk" being the funniest euphemism EVAR. "Junk." Seriously? Who thought of that?

- What’s your biggest addiction?
Hmmmmm. Possibly caffeine, maybe? Sometimes it feels like I *truly* need a cup to get my brain kickstarted in the morning. I'm sure it's all lies devised by The Man, designed to fatten the coffee conglomerates' coffers.

- Sweet or Salty?
It depends! I'm probably 80/20 salty...unless strawberry ice cream is involved, and then all bets are off.

- What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Aiiiii! Vampire Diaries, Damon and Bonnie 4ever! Ian Somerhalder is just too purrrrrrrrrrrrrty.

- What type of cell phone do you own?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Dude, seriously. It rings and flips open and it has a little keypad with numbers on it. I think it's by Verizon. I think this is it, except mine is blue and there's no camera. It's OLD SKOOL.

- Cake or Death?
Cake! Chocolate with the icing scraped off, preferably.

- What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Google News, LJ, Facebook, Mrs. O (the fashions of Michelle Obabma. If you love her, check it out!), The Sartorialist, and then a couple of sites each in the Merlin, Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who fandoms, and lately, my writing journal to look over some popslash stuff.

- What was the last thing you bought?
Lunch. Of a more permanent and fun nature, I bought a grey sheer blouse and four skinny-strap t-tanks yesterday. Love those tanks. Soft green, blossom pink, soft lavender and dusty tangerine. I'm thinking about going back for the colors I passed up.

- Which fictional character do you think you're most like?
Hmmmmm. I have *no* idea.

- If you could only listen to one band or singer for one week who would it be?
I actually do this all the time. I was obsessed with Sour Girl by Stone Temple Pilots and played it CONSTANTLY for a few days, and did the same with Dolphin's Cry by Live. I played Schizophrenic non-stop for a couple of weeks. So...this would be easy. :-)

Currently...I'd say that I could listen to nothing but A Perfect Circle (Maynard James Keenan, THAT VOICE.) quite happily for a week, or Dave Matthews Band, NSYNC or Live. I'd even let someone else choose for me.

- What do you do to change your mood?
Music. Music is my absolute savior at work. If I wake up feeling anxious, I'll watch something mindless on TV until my brain settles down.

- What was the last meal you ate?
McDonald's fish sandwich and fries, with grapes for dessert.

- Do you want to learn another language?
I'd love to learn German, I love the way it sounds. And listening to a German band...automatic triple word score, baby. Sie is Weg, by Die Fantastischen Vier.

- Five things you can't live without do almost every day?
1) Listen to music (and sing! I make up theme songs for my cats. Seriously.)
2) Read!
3) Write!
4) DAS INTARWEBS! I love the internet.
5) Check the news, even if it's mostly scanning the headlines.
5) Hang with the monkey!cats and monkey!husband.

- Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 54. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?

Michael stole weekend hours from his studies so that he could roam the De Young, and gaze in awe at the great El Greco painting of Saint Francis of Assisi, with its haunted expression and gaunt gray cheeks. The Witching Hour, Anne Rice

- What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
OH MY GOD, WOMAN, LEAVE ME ALONE. No, this isn't directed at anyone on my LJ. I usually think it about a million times a day depending on whether someone's knocking on my door, calling me on the phone or if my boss is asking me to do a half million things with a two-day turnaround. I repeat, OH MY GOD, WOMAN, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

- What do you want to do right now?
Write!

LOL! Sometimes it's like living with a monkey. A two-legged monkey and two little four-legged monkeys. :-D I think it's because they're all boys and can't help themselves. ;-)

WHAT? NO ICING? blasphemy.

Yes! For store-bought cakes, like sheet cakes and such, I always scrape off the icing, leaving just enough to enhance the flavor of the cakey goodness and not overwhelm it.

ROBOT CAKES ARE THE EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE. ROBOT CAKES ARE THE BEST EVAR.

I also make up theme songs for my pets and dude, what a perfect pair you and I would be, as I much prefer the icing to the cake. ;)

Why, thank you! I've always thought that you're pretty awesome as well. :-)

LOL! Another theme song singer! It cracks my husband up.

Hubs: Are you saying something?
Me: I'm singing to Booboo!

And yes with the paired perfection because, dude, I would give you the icing off of my cake.
