Dexter! Season finale!!!

Bwahahahaha! Okay, it probably didn't take Miss Cleo to predict Lila killing Doakes. Doakes in a cage! Doakes in an explosion! Doakes dead! That is one wacky babe.
Good episode, though dramatically not *quite* as fab as the last two or three. Still, *great* wrap-up for the season.
Nice touch: They went rather oddly full circle with Lt. Laguerta; she pushed ex-Lt. Esmee to the brink of jealous obsession in order to get her job back, and by the end of the season, is herself portray as a little too obsessed with proving Doakes' innocence.
I was about to be unhappy when I thought Lila had gotten away. HAH! I should have known better! Dexter's (and possibly Deb's) mad detective skillz had her tracked and traced and pwned. And how odd is it that, in a show filled with murder, mayhem and bloodshed, Lila's quick, simple death was...almost disturbing? And, through no fault of her own, in profile, the actress' lips drove me to distraction. Very bizarre.
All in all, a very satisfying season wrap-up. And! It's back in 2008! Love me some Dexter.
Oooh! I forgot! Also loved, loved, loved, them incorporating bits from the the opening montage on Dexter's first morning as a "free" man. Stroke of genius.
