Writing...and Dexter.

OH MY GOD WITH THE HOLIDAY WRITING. My brain hates me, and mocks me soundly. The bastard. It's one of those stories that kind of grew, and the thing refuses to end, dammit. Well, it's ending, it's just not being graceful about it.

In other news...DEXTER! The last few Dexter episodes have had me on the edge of my seat like no other show EVAR.

I've found new love for Deb, I'm pleased to say. Her character's really grown this season, in spite of her unfortunate daddy issues with Special Agent Grandpa Lundy. As opposed to last season when I wanted to kill her at least twenty times an episode, I think she's only gotten on my nerves...maybe three or four times this entire season, and those were in the early episodes. Much love for Deb! Yay!

For fear of spoiling anyone, my guesses for the final episode (includes stuff seen in previews) shall be cut

Lila! What a freak! Doaks in a cage! So here's what I think will happen:

From the previews, we know that Doaks tells Lila about Dexter. What Doaks doesn't know (and I'm guessing) is that Lila will be crazy turned on by the thought of a killer boyfriend (hahaha). When Doaks tells her that he has to get out of the cage so he can get Dexter behind bars, Lila will kill Doaks to protect Dexter.

Dexter will arrive in time to see Lila kill Doaks, and in a flash of brilliance, Dexter will (probably) kill Lila, and he'll then come up with a story about how Doaks died a hero protecting him from her. Yayness! With Doaks dead (and cleared), that should befuddle the Bay Harbor investigation for a while -- since there were no other leads.

Whee! Dexter completely rules. Love that show. ::hugs serial killer::

Uh... ::runs away:: I have two holiday stories (one overdue! ACK!) that I need to get out of my brain, then I can take a leisurely look around and see what'll come next. :-)


I wish I had Showtime, I've heard great things about that show.

It's every bit as fabulous as you've heard. It's an excellent show. I'd almost recommend getting Showtime just to see it!

My daughter got me hooked on Dexter. We've watched every episode. We always watched 6 Feet Under as well. Michael C Hall was in that show. I cheated and downloaded the last two episodes and watched them last week. The final is outstanding!! As for Deb, I do have to say that I've always hated her but just recently I have to give her credit for standing up for everyone. There just seems to be something weird about her. Like her mouth is crooked or something. I was very satisfied with the ending:)

Six Feet Under, OMG! Loved that show, absolutely loved it.

The final is outstanding!!

It's been a good season, but the last three episodes have been *stellar*. I thought the final ep looked fabulous, I'm glad to have it confirmed! I'll be checking out the cast interviews afterward, too.

As for Deb, I do have to say that I've always hated her but just recently I have to give her credit for standing up for everyone. There just seems to be something weird about her. Like her mouth is crooked or something.

Yeah, she's got a strangely crooked...nose and mouth area, I think. Her character always drove me to distraction, but lately she's been less annoying, which I'm *so* glad of. She said a few annoying things when Rita dumped Dexter, but it didn't irk me as much as it would have in the past. She's kicking ass and taking names! ;-) I *loved* her telling Lila to get the hell out of town.

I can't wait to see how they wrap up all the loose bits. I'm pretty sure that Doaks will die, since I can't see him keeping his mouth shut about Dexter. The only thing I'm not sure of is how Angel will get out of the rape charge with his honor intact. I'm thinking...maybe after Lila dies her picture's in the paper and they'll get an anonymous tip that she purchased the drug and used it on herself...? Hmmm.
