NAME THAT LABEL! WIN A FICLET!
Nov. 13th, 2007 08:13 pmDoods! If you read my last post, you know that teenmusic.com (hahaha) posted this blurb about JC wherein they state:
Chasez will release the album under his own record label after losing his contract with Jive Records earlier this year.
I hope it's true, for no other reason than to see what JC would come up with for a label name. I think it'd be fun if he called it Schizophrenic Records. What do all of you think?
Let me hear it! NAME JC'S LABEL! I'll write a ficlet about the name that tickles my fancy most, and how I think JC would come up with it. Let's have some fun. :-D

Date: 2007-11-14 01:29 am (UTC)ROFLMAO! Those are some cree-ative names. ;-) Hmmm, you know, I hadn't considered Shazam. I could see him doing that...

Date: 2007-11-14 01:32 am (UTC)ROFL! I could see that too. ;-) Hmmm. I could see him hyphenating his birth last name with Chasez to make it look like a partnership. Like, Chasez-Johnson Tunes, or something. Then he'd spend the next year being all secretive about his silent partner, and then he'd casually drop it in some interview that there is no silent partner and XXXX is really his birth name.

Date: 2007-11-14 01:37 am (UTC)ROFLMAO! I love Because Yes, and for that reason, the Chasez won't pick it, the bastage.
BOOM BOOM...you're on crack, then again, I could see JC doing something like this, too. "My eight year old cousin said, 'Hey JC, you should name your label Boom boom!' and I thought it sounded cool, so I'm like, hey cat, that's a good idea!" Oh, JC.
12974@@#$@@#@ = The Label Formerly Known as BOOM BOOM.

Date: 2007-11-14 02:18 am (UTC)Giddy Up!!! ROFL! If I can be completely crass, this picture (click for extra bigness, no pun intended) of JC's crotch, a la the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers album cover, would serve nicely as the corporate logo.
The Chasez is mad talented and has a fab singing voice, but I'm not above admiring his other *cough* attributes as well. one ticket to Hell, please.

Date: 2007-11-14 02:43 am (UTC)I actually like that, a phonetic spelling of his name. Nice! Or were you intending it with the extra H's and Y's and such? 'Cause yeah, I could see that too. ;-)
The more I think about it, the more I like it. Shazay Records. Dude, you know he would.

Date: 2007-11-14 03:08 am (UTC)Of all the names so far, I think that Shazay Records and Army of Love are the two most likely to occur in the real (non-crack) world. Much love to the crack entries though, because yes! My ribs hurt from the laughing. ;-)
Because, Yes Records is also good.

Date: 2007-11-14 04:12 am (UTC)I think JC will incorporate one of his go-to interview responses and choose either End of the Day Records or Next Level Records
You know, I'd forgotten about those oft-repeated phrases. I'm impressed!
Both are likely candidates, but End of the Day would be my choice. Yessssssssss.

I could see him going with either "Geek in Pink" or "Because....YES!" Though my heart really lies with "F**k Jive HARD!" Thanks!
'Geek in Pink.' You know, I could see this. 'F*ck Jive HARD' is probably his real and actual first choice, but lawsuits, you know. ;-) Let's see. He could do this...
FUKC J!VE HARD Wonder if that would pass? ;-D

Date: 2007-11-15 12:22 am (UTC)Shitty records. hehe. Or has he gotten over that word already?
I'd vote for something like say, Speak Your Mind Records, but JC would probably pick something boring. :P

Hmmmmm, not bad. Or! No Strings! Sadly, boring and non-fannish is what we'll probably get. See above post concerning Chasez Records. ;-p

Oh. My. Squee. I *love* Until Yesterday Records. JT's Bitch...ROFL! If he called it something like that, I think I'd call off of work just to dance around and squee madly and spam LJ like crazy. ;-)
Dirty Secret sounds like JC too, 'cause he's nas-tay.
