Neo-soul, definitely! If you have more neo-soul or 60s revival stuff to recommend, please do!

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu should be owned by EVERYBODY. Right now I'm really into Van Hunt. He only has two albums out but I like both of them.

I've been meaning to get something by Erykah Badu for a while now, but it just hasn't happened. My iPod is set on 'shuffle,' and it has really been loving Jill Scott lately! I want to get not only new things, but more things that I like but don't have enough of.

Thanks for the recs, and I'm looking forward to more if you have anything else to suggest. :-)

I'm not 100% in love with Instant Vintage by Raphael Saadiq but the songs that are on the mark hit really hard. Even though she's sold as r&b Syleena Johnson has a neo-soul vibe and has a interesting voice. Also, on an emo-ish/rock tip I've been loving Popaganda by Head Automatica lately. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy for some reason. It think it has something to do with them sounding a little like Barenaked Ladies and BNL reminds me of good times in high school.

I've been loving Popaganda by Head Automatica lately. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy for some reason. It think it has something to do with them sounding a little like Barenaked Ladies and BNL reminds me of good times in high school.

I have a couple of die-hard Barenaked Ladies fans, and went to my first concert uh...yeeks, nearly a year ago! I had a good time, and I do have a few of their CDs. Head Automatica is now on the list!
