Season premiere of Dexter tonight...yay! Now I'll cut so as not to spoil others... Dammit, I just remembered Nathan Fillion on Desperate Housewives. Yeah, about three hours late on that one. ;-p

Looks like it's going to be an interesting season! Deb didn't get on my nerves too much tonight, though I hope FOR THE LOVE OF GOD that she's in her own apartment soon, though I doubt I'll get that lucky.

The Lt. (can't think of her name) suffered quite a humiliating beat-down; how much would it suck to be stuck at a desk with former underlings??? So far not bad, but the new boss lady and her fiancee...that was just weird. Will he kill new boss-lady later and will old boss-lady be the one to catch him? Or was that just a means to let old boss-lady know that she's a woman with problems, just like the rest of us? Hmmmmm.

Dexter! No! Dexter's private underwater body dump has been found and he's let two intended victims get away. Psycho killer angst, y'all! Hope he doesn't become too much of a mess because honestly, the cool and collected psycho killer is soooooooooo much more sexy - and interesting. The beige, weepy girlfriend may be coming into her own though, what with kind of knowing that Dex may have had something to do with her ex-husband's latest/final run of jail time. YAY, the abusive husband is gone! Boo, the weepy girlfriend now wonders if he should have been in jail at all!

Dokes, the irritating detective who hates Dexter, has now started following him around. OH MY GOD, have an enema and chill. I do love the way he and Dexter are facing off, though.

All in all, lots of changes but nothing that has me beating my head against the wall - yet. With the exception of Deb, I love just about everything about the show, so I hope they don't ruin it for me. And holy moley, this certainly turned into a long post.

Ha Ha, finally someone who loved Dexter. They had the first 2 episodes on the internet about a month or so ago so I watched them in advance. The first show is a bit slow with Dexter seeming to lose his nerve. However, rest assured that it doesn't last for long and it gets very interesting. BTW, I can't stand Deb either!!

Yay! You were right! I watched the ep but I haven't posted about it yet. I'm glad he's back on his game -- and taking down a man mountain like Little Chino? Verra nice. ;-) I loved the comment about not making the same mistake twice -- he had enough tape on him to make sure he didn't bust loose again! One thing though; you'd think the cops would be ultra-wary of boats going out at night, with the underwater graveyard having been discovered and all. I wonder if that'll come into play later? There *must* have been some kind of surveillence going on.

I can't believe that Rita thinks he's a substance abuser. ROFL! The look on his face was perfect. I loved Michael C. Hall in 'Six Feet Under' but I wasn't sure how he'd go over as Dexter. He's *perfect*. His reactions in some of these situations are priceless. ;-) I'm glad Rita's immediate suspicions have been calmed; I was afraid that she was going to be one more obstacle he'd have to manuever around this season.

DEB! OMG! I'm *so* glad someone else can't stand Deb. Truly, that character irks me like you wouldn't believe. When she snapped at Dexter for having the chain on the front door I wanted to smack her. *She* does it all the time, but loses it when he does it? And it's *his* apartment? Killkillkill! Also, ROFL: "I will not kill my sister, I will not kill my sister." Honestly, who goes around leaving open containers of orange juice sitting around? It's definitely time for her to leave. Oh yes, much Deb hate. Also also, she's on the task force! Nice way to luck into another sweet gig. Had to laugh big time when Dokes was told that he doesn't play well with others. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha, in your face! Hate him.

I'm really curious about new boss lady; that's a nuclear bomb waiting for a detonation code, right there. It's a set-up for old boss lady to step back into the old job, but it feels like it's going to bigger than that, like maybe she'll go postal and take the station hostage and they'll have to take her out in a hail of bullets, or something.

Clearly, I enjoy 'Dexter' perhaps a bit too much. ;-)
