WIP Amnesty! Andromeda fic, out of the closet!

Andromeda! I watched the first season - when I could find it - and enjoyed it mightily. Loved the ship, the Highguard March theme music (thank you, Alex Lifeson!), and the fact that it starred one of my ex-Hercules faves, Kevin Sorbo. Fun times.

What *really* piqued my interest, however, was the appearance of Keith Hamilton Cobb as Tyr Anasazi.

Ahhhh, Tyr Anasazi. About 6'4" of super yummy hotness in black leather pants and a chain mail tank top, with biceps as big as my head. Oh, my God. HURT me. Click those links, if you haven't already. You *must*. Visual treat here, no kidding.

So, the fic. I only wrote one and never posted it. It's unbeta'd, but I know I'm never going to do anything further with it. Out of the closet it goes!

oh, *outstanding* pic of KHC. I'm old; I remember him on All My Children, but he never had nice costumes like that in Pine Valley. and, um, as soon as I can tear my eyes away, I'll be sure to read, too. ;)

LOL! I understand completely. ;-)

I'd intended to check out the show when I first heard about it, because I love sci fi. And hey! Sorbo! Then I saw the first commercials and yowee, I knew I had to watch at least once. Hot guy in a metal shirt! Oh my goodness, just *so* completely gorgeous. And that voice! I loved the character, all in control and uber macho. ::swoon:: Mmmmm.

Well -- bugger. Sorry you didn't finish, given the pitiful amount of Dylan/Tyr out there.
Of course, it's very hard to write it nowadays, but pre-season 4 stories are still a treat.

I know!!! That frustrated me to no end when I was first looking for Andromeda slash. I could never see the attraction in Dylan/Harper, and that was the ONLY thing out there at the time. I seem to pick the most unpopular pairings, every single time. ;-)

Harper leaves me cold; Dylan/Harper gives me the creeps. It's unfortunate that that particular pairing also attracted several of the very few good writers in the fandom.

The only Dylan/Tyr writers I know of who did more than one story are Becca Abbott; myself; McJude; Cherubino; and LadyJax. There are a handful (really: 5, maybe)of stories by other authors who experimented with one story. I used to know all of them, but their names don't come to mind, except for a recent one by Kit Mason and a first-season one by Brenda Antrim.

The overwhelming majority of stuff was Harper/Tyr. Eh.
