1) What, so Cam's over his boycrush on the lovely Doctor? That little opener had shades of 7th/8th season Jack, and I didn't like it. ;-p Ah well, I guess the honeymoon had to end sometime. Then again, Cam's always been a bit head over heels for Teal'c too, so I guess I'll cut him a little slack just this once. Better not happen again though. No one disses Daniel, dammit.

2) What, so Vala's the new Daniel? She's suddenly absorbed his thinking outside the box powers? I've loved Vala from the first, don't get me wrong, but honestly, that's one thing Daniel's always had over everyone else on the show. Would be nice if he got to keep his own character quirks, thank you very much. ;-p

Okay, the grumbling is over! Back to the show!

9:31 p.m., edited to add: Oh, come on. It looks like they really *did* give Vala Daniel's brain! At one time, "Arthur and his knights wouldn't have had access to this advanced technology to guide them through, so presumably, the answer could be deceptively simple," would have been Daniel's line.

Please don't make me hate Vala. :-(

Truthfully, neither can I. ;-) After several missteps with his character last season, the writers have quite amazingly found True Cam Balance this season. I liked him last year too, even when it seemed the writers couldn't decide what direction they wanted to take with him.

I went trolling for fic tonight, and I am once again *stunned* that no one seems to be writing Daniel/Cameron. It's been a year and a half. Why aren't there truckloads of fic for this pairing??? It saddens me.
