My work bud and I dissect Project Runway via email the next day; this post is a cobbling together of my messages to her.

I am both saddened and happy at Keith's ouster. Saddened because yeah, breaking tiny rules and getting away with it because of your mad skillz (no doggie outfit!) is one thing. Thinking that your mad skillz justify you doing whatever the hell you want (pattern books! leaving for hours at a time without permission! surfing the internet!), is another.

I’d been taken in by that little bit of misdirection with the discussion at the fabric store. “Can I have a discount? Please?” I thought he’d get kicked because technically, he got (a wee bit) more for his money than everyone else. Wasn’t expecting the pattern books AT ALL. He needed a smack down, and I’m glad it was severe.

Less harsh but still embarrassing – they could have kept him on but taken away his right to immunity with wins. See, that little bit of digging in the knuckles would almost have been worth it. Before every challenge, Tim Gunn would have to remind Keith that he wouldn’t have immunity even if he won, yakkity shmakkity. And when they came out on the runway Heidi would mention it again. And then she’d say it again if he won. Nina Garcia is a supreme b!tch, so you KNOW she’d find a way to mention it at least once or twice. That would almost< have been worth keeping him on the show, just to hear them explain with every win how he didn’t have immunity because of blahblahblah. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, I am a vengeful god. ;-p

I’d like to think that he’s learned something. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has.

I was friggin’ amazed at Angela's outfit, especially after seeing that crazy sketch. I’m like, what? She pulled it out though, and she was so happy. I was actually pleased for her! Unlike Keith, I think she may have learned something about thinking through the challenges a bit more. I hope. And, OMG! The rosettes AGAIN! I loved Laura talking about her "granny squares" and the "concoction of poof," or however she put it.

I do adore Laura and Michael. I’d love to see them team up after the competition to open their own design house.

Another thing: Angela kept saying she was inspired by the Empire State Building, but I wonder if she meant the Chrysler (which is truly gorgeous)? The chevron pattern on the jacket lining make me think she was confused.

Poor Robert. I loved his trench, but the pieces underneath were just sad. I hope he pulls out of the slump next week, because I’d hate to see him go so soon.
