Stories I Never Wrote!

Yeah, I'm jumping on a bandwagon that rolled by a couple of weeks ago. Sue me.

Yes! This looked interesting when I first saw it, and kept meaning to throw it in my journal.

Give me the title of a story I never wrote. Include a pairing if you wish, and whether you want angst (hahahaha! me, angst), fluff, whatever. I'll give you a blurbized summary of the story.

I know I mangled the hell out of it, but that's basically what I can remember. Fandoms include popslash!, Hercules, Harry Potter, SG-1, and SGA. I'm in the mood to work my brain a little.

Simple Comforts

John seems a little down one day so Ronon, being Ronon, tells John that a workout is the best way to get rid of a bad mood. John asks Ronon if he's been sniffing Wraith dust. He tries to be snarly but can't quite because Ronon looks so sincere. John rolls his eyes and acts very put-upon, but Ronon can see behind the facade and knows that his plan is working.

The wrestle for a bit and do a little sparring and then work out with the fighting sticks when Teyla pops in to see who's around. The three of them finish the workout, then sit on the mats and share stories about McKay and how ridiculous it is that he doesn't think anyone knows about his secret long-distance romance with Dr. Daniel Jackson.

After talking for a bit, Teyla heads off to her quarters. John and Ronon make plans to meet for dinner in the cafeteria after they shower. Before they part ways, John thanks Ronon for distracting him for a little while, and they share a smile. Before they part though, McKay comes screeching through John's headset about a problem that he needs to address RIGHT THIS MINUTE. John glances at Ronon and makes exagerrated talking motions with his hand. Ronon gives a tiny smile and nods. He heads down he hall and raises his hand in goodbye as he walks away.

John watches Ronon walk away and before he answers McKay, thinks to himself that it wasn't such a bad day after all.
