Trickyfish day! Project Runway!
Feb. 2nd, 2006 10:08 pmIt's Trickyfish Day, I had no idea! Happy TF to everyone on my friends list. Mmmm, one of my favorite pairings evah. I don't have anything new to offer, but I do have The Age of Love, an oldie but one of my favorites. If you've seen Reel NSync, then you'll know that Chris crushed on Lance way back in the day. Ah, young love.
So I'm watching Princess Tutu via Anime on Demand. I love Duck's voice, she's such a cutie. I want to see her end up with Fakir, 'cause he's pretty hot. Fakir and Mytho seem to have a little sumpin' sumpin' going on, though, so we'll see what happens. ;-)
Much as I didn't want to get drawn into Project Runway, it seems to have happened. I watched the Garden Party dress challenge last night, and DVR'd the following episode (the one where they have to find inspiration), but I haven't watched that one yet.
Daniel's dress was *gorgeous*, he definitely deserved the win. Chloe's dress was amazing, I loved the cloth-like effect she achieved. The other one with flowers...can't think of her name. Kara? Pretty dress, but not as elegant as Daniel's, so yay! Surprisingly, I even liked Santino's design, and that's a first. Also, he didn't annoy me in this episode. We'll see if that lasts. ;-) His little Red Lobster narrative starring Andre and Tim was hilarious. Speaking of Andre...oy, that dress. Sad to see him go, with his dramatic little self (that last running exit from the runway, oh my), but yeah, that dress wasn't happening. I guess Santino will have to find a new Red Lobster boyfriend for the Tim narratives.
What is it with these judges and the word 'vulgar'? Do they even know what it means? I have no idea what Michael Kors was talking about when he said that Nick's design was vulgar. Weh? Are these people insane? And why the big hullabaloo about the contestants not using tons of flowers in their designs? Yay for Heidi saying she liked Santino's shiny leaves. And what does being German have to do with liking shiny things? Again, I have to wonder about Michael Kors and the inner workings of his brain.
Watching another of my favorites, Azumanga Daioh. It's pretty nearly crack!anime. Guilty pleasure - I love the end song! I probably wouldn't be upset to find it on a DVD or something. ::looks shifty::
Seems like there was something else I wanted to say but crack!anime has wiped it right out of my head.
Worked on my HP fic last night while surfing - tightened up the first half, but I have to work on the second half. I like where it's going. Oooh! Azumanga Daioh ending song! I love it. :-)

And the Trickyfish, yes. I prefer a side of JoLa with my JuC these days, but I tried the Trickyfish first and still enjoy it.
