Bush and his buds are complete assholes, though this is no surprise to anyone with a brain and a third grade education. Much love to Google for standing up to The Man! I hate that this is affecting their stock rating, though Martin Wolk at MSNBC thinks (as do I - I hope so anyway) that their stand will be good for business. Damn the Man! Buy a Google share! :-) For your convenience, I Googled the Google news and it's all here in one convenient package. Bush. I couldn't possibly hate him any more than I already do.
Finally Friday, thank bejeebus. The department secretary came around with our W2s today and because they look just like our paychecks, I had a megasecond flash of dismay/horror/disbelief thinking, what? It's not Wednesday, *please* tell me it's not Wednesday! And then reality kicked in I realized that yes, it's Friday, calm the frig down. I blame broken synapses on the fact that I got up this morning at 4:30 a.m. ::cries:: There's a plus side - because I started my work day at 6:00, I was free to leave at 2:30 p.m., which I did. Woo-friggin-hoo! Squandered the afernoon by crawling in bed and resting my eyes for a bit. Oy.
In other news, I'm DVRing the 'Gates tonight. Yes both of them, biotches. I still refuse to believe that I'll be hooked by Atlantis, other than fast-forwarding in order to ogle my future husband, the lovely Jason Momoa.
In other other news, I'm writing. Woohoo! And I'm wondering how this story's going to shape up for JuC day. ::pokes fic, kicks muse::
