Blame this on
sai, her friend, and the crack that is JC Chasez. JC's to blame because I was still giddy from seeing two shows in one night (Chicago!), and Sai and her friend are to blame because they introduced me to the anime crack that is the Prince of Tennis.
foxmonkey's Prince of Tennis Theatre
The Eternal Triangle, a love story in four acts.
edited to add: I forgot to mention that this is slash. And it's illustrated! The pairing is Kaidoh/Karupin. Yes, a boy and a cat. And Ryoma loves Karupin, too! Another boy is in love with the cat! It's true love!

You are *so* right. I have seen the light of Kaidoh/Karupin once and forever now. The way that Kaidoh's eyes lit up when he saw Karupin! How Karupin was willing to go anywhere and do anything for Kaidoh! And oh, THE PATHOS, when Karupin was brought back to Ryouma again, and went to sleep next to Ryouma thinking of Kaidoh. Nothing good can come of this, because it is a love that CANNOT BE DENIED, no matter how many Ryoumas stand in its way, and oh, I *weep* for Karupin and Kaidoh and Ryouma.
*weeps*

Date: 2004-06-08 08:28 pm (UTC)It truly is the eternal triangle.
What will happen when Ryoma and Kaidoh face each other on the tennis courts? When they battle for ranking on the team?
Will there be hands curled meanacingly into fists? Narrowed eyes and thinned lips? Angrily arched eyebrows? Frosty, superior attitudes? Yes! Yes, I say, yes, all this and more! Someone is guaranteed a broken heart!
Such drama! All this and Mother Irigawa's Super Happy Taste Sensations too! It's almost too much for one person to take.
Oh, the humanity (and feline-inity).
