Grrrrrrr.

I spent a couple of hours alterantely ranting and cooing about the SciFi Friday lineup and then friggin' lost it because I popped off to another site for a second. ::boggles:: I've been doing this for AGES! I know how it works! Why is my brain not working? I'm blaming it on the new computer. It's got me all confuzzled and stuff, the bastage. I've been sitting here trying to decide whether I want to re-type all of my thoughts. Half of me would like to do that very thing, and the other half is still disgusted that I pulled such a bonehead move. I'm also feeling like I'm not making much sense, even to myself. Bleh.

Also, when scrolling through my friends' list, why isn't my entry from last night showing up? More confuzzlement, though I know this has nothing to do with the new bastage computer. Speaking of the bastage computer, I just realized that having a wireless keyboard means that I don't have to keep the keyboard on the table. Woohoo! It's now across my knees and I'm totally loving it. OH MY GOD I'M SO BORING I CAN'T EVEN STAND IT. I think I'm going to try to re-create my SG-1, Atlantis and Galactica thoughts ::cries::

If you went to Hogwarts you would be screwing Ron Weasley. Now don't let the fact that he's Harry Potter's side kick discourage you, there is a lot more to Ron than meets the eye. And thats what you love about him. He's sweet, sensitive, quirky, and not to mention a firey red head. You know what that means? It means he'll fuck your brains out if you let him! He had you on your back the second you heard he stole a car! So go head girl go head get down.

SciFi Friday! SG-1! Atlantis! Galactica!

So glad I decided to check in on SG-1 last night as I was apparently on crack and it *was* the beginning of the second half of the season after all. Woohoo!

Putting my thoughts behind an LJ cut since at least one person on my friends list is spoiler-allergic to anything after the first season. If you haven't seen the later seasons, don't click the link because...well. Don't. Or do, but don't blame me if you're seriously spoiled after reading.

Atlantis! I was talking to Dad during most of this so I missed what were probably important plot points. Still, I got to ogle the pretty (Ronon!) for a while. Ronon, Sheppard and Teyla are my favorites (love Teyla!). I can't stand Rodney McKay, so the fact that he wasn't much in last night's show made me happy. I did enjoy the babbling but mostly, I'm happiest when he isn't onscreen being annoying. Dr. Weir! Aiiii, this woman makes Dr. Lam look manic. I don't even think that 'wooden' accurately expresses it. As someone in LJland noted, though, seeing the original Dr. Weir on SG-1 gave them a whole new appreciation for Atlantis!Weir, and I agree - and that's probably why the original didn't reprise the role. Yikes!

Battlestar! WOW, this show has finally snagged me. I've seen bits and pieces and the odd ep here and there, but for some reason I just never connected enough to watch on a weekly basis. Ha! That's changed, because I'm going to be right there waiting for it next week.

Unlike the other Friday shows, I like all of the actors on this show. No one really bugs me, though I can take or leave Starbuck and Apollo. Eh. I love, love, love Mary McDonnell, and Edward James Olmos and Grace Park are my two remaining favorites. There's strong writing and great acting on this show, so again, I'm not sure why I just never really got hooked. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

And on that note, eeeeeep! Time to call Dad!
