Last week I posted a JC mention in MetroWeekly, "Washington DC's Gay & Lesbian Magazine." They'd spelled his name correctly in the body of the article (good reporting!), but the title and a text link to BMU on amazon.com sported the usual misspelling, "JC Chavez".

I wrote them a nice email message about the article, and pointed out the errors. I told them I'd bookmarked the site, and I'd be visiting often. I received a nice email message in reply, thanking me for the heads up and telling me that the errors had been fixed. I whipped by and lo and behold, Mr. Chasez's name is now correctly spelled. Woohoo!

Which takes us to...yes. The JJB. Someone wrote FMQB a letter about the airplay information for "Some Girls". If you're a member of the Board of Babbling Insanity, here's the post.

The upshot of the madness is that VP/Managing Director of FMQB answered her email message and had some very complimentary things to say about JC's showcase. It pretty much echoes the blurb in FMQB, but yay!

As for JC, inform your fan board that they will be blown away when they see this man perform. I was at the BMG NYC showcase -and I've known JC for years- and this one is off the charts! JC should equal if not even improve upon Justin's recent success. It's not NSYNC... but it hot! I'm genuinely excited about the project after hearing JC perform 5 songs with a live band. And one final note the company which JC records for is also going through a potential merger or pending sale (you should have read that also on our site). It won't hurt the artists but it does delay and move the scheduling around a little bit.

Stuff we'd heard, but still, I don't get tired of hearing it.

::thinks good thoughts::
