Last of the concert bits!
Apr. 27th, 2002 06:42 pmAiii! Three more things that I thought of, and then I'll be ready to let the concert fade away. Nooo! I didn't say that. It'll never fade away. And once again, for the record, I'm so, so glad that I went. :-)
Final Three Observances
These aren't too remarkable, except that they happened, I saw them, and again, the five feet sphere of influence holds! Told ya, I had a really good spot at the gate.
1)I saw Kevin Antunes. Or I should say, Kevin Antunes walked out from behind the gate, right in front of me, and passed me, heading either out toward the parking lot, or toward the front of the venue (didn't turn to watch). Not a ton of fans around at the time, and I'm pretty sure no one recognized him.
I thought about saying hi, but even though I've seen Making the Tour, I couldn't remember if it's An-tunes, or An-tun-es. But it's the first, right? Anyway, calling him by his first name would be kind of familiar and weird, so, again, I passed up on the chance to greet someone connected with the tour. I wonder how many people reading this would like to smack me? LOL!
2) I saw the guitar player; I have to run to another journal right now to get his name...Greg Howe. He's the one who did the guitar-sex thing with Justin during Gone.
He stood out because he was kind of quiet, just walked around by himself, then came out behind the barrier to talk to someone (who was also connected with the tour, I think, maybe one of Diddy's dancers?), and they hung out by the buses for a while. He walked back and forth for a bit, coming in and out of the barricaded area over the course of a half hour or so. Also, a guy with braids that long is noticeable!
Had no idea who he was until I saw him on stage. Again, passed right by me, which made no difference as I wouldn't have spoken to him, anyway. God, if all NSync fans were like me, the guys probably wouldn't feel very loved. Though safer, maybe. :-D
3) Hmmm. Nah.
So, I'm pretty sure that's the total of my concert experiences. I'm saving my money now, because I'm hitting multiple shows when the next tour comes around. Not too crazy about flying, but I'm all about road trips, baby!
If/when Justin releases his solo album, and if he brings his sweet little self to Columbus, Ohio...I'll be there at the ticket office, hoping for good seats! Mmmmm, Justin Timberlake with special guest JC Chasez - I would die from the squeeing, and that's all there is to that.
