So a few more remembrances before I fade away. But first, why did I not get pit or catwalk? :-(

Concert Observances, Part the Third

Let's see. Not a lot of Joshtin interaction that I could see, though I did catch a few noteworthy moments.

1) Their timing cracks me up. During the oldies medley deal, JC was singin' his little closed-eyes heart out, and Justin turned to give him a big ol' headlight bright smile. I think Justin might have been reacting to something Chris did, and wanted to share it with his bud. He should realize by now that JC only witnesses about 10% of what they do on stage. Soulful, earnest kitten, so cute.

2) During one of JC's 10% moments, he gets all up on Justin during - I believe? - I Want You Back. Or not. Ugh! Anyway, if you've seen the recent picture where JC has his head on Justin's shoulder and they're singing, that's it. If you haven't seen it, or the move I'm talking about, Justin's standing facing the audience, JC is facing Justin, to his side, and JC is basically singing to Justin, at least that's the way I like to think of it. JC cocks his head to the side and gets up in Justin's face. This is during one of Justin's 10% moments, so he doesn't see it. Oh! Unless he's doing that looking through your lashes thing. Mmm, now that's a nice thought.

Sadly, JC didn't tuck his head against Justin's shoulder at my show, and you'd better believe that I was holding my breath for it! Oy with the squealing, had that happened! But, no.

This seems to be standard because I've seen it before; I never thought about it, but it's probably a good place to stop and share a little "us" time while getting in place for the next bit of choreography.

Whenever any of them get within two inches of each other, I start to vibrate. Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter.

3) They more than made up for the first two moments with this one. During the Chris-sings-Lance's-note gag, the three J's are off to the side, watching. JC and Justin had bottles of water, and took a couple of sips. I didn't notice the first time, but the second time, their elbows rose togehter, and their sips ended together. I didn't think anything of it until they did it a second time. ROFL! They had this kind of golf audience posture going on, kind of aloofly critical. The synchronized drinking was the perfect capper, and I don't even think Joey noticed. :-)

The best part, though, was when Chris and Lance were done, JC and Justin started off in opposite directions. One headed left and the other right, but they leaned close to talk and laugh first, and then their shoulders touched, and they were leaning on each other, heads close together, smiling and talking, but still moving just a tiny bit toward their next marks. They ended up doing this kind of upper-body bump/touch before they finally split up in their separate directions. This probably only took a second, maybe two-three tops, but you know how things slow down and time s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s out? That happened. JC and Justin created their own moment in time and took me along for the ride! Aiiii! I was in flames.

4) JoeC...man, where to start? Joey loves JC, let's get that straight. Joey, methinks, is not about the JoLa. If there's anyone that could tackle the big, burly het-boy to the ground, it's JC, and he could do it with his little finger. :-)

Seriously, I wonder if Joey has thoughts about JC? You know, straight boy "why am I staring at my really cute friend" kinda thoughts? 'Cause he really, truly appears to have a boycrush on the kitten. They were so cute whenever they had to sing together, JC all sweet and crinkly-eyed.

AH! I have to stop because a tsunami of ChasezLove just washed over me and knocked me out of my chair. Ye gods, the things that guy does to me. Yikes.

Anyway, lots of smiling and leaning with those two. They were flirting right in front of us, y'all, and I ate it up.

time out

And I don't know if I'm on crack or what, and please if someone with better seats/eyes/memory than me saw this, please confirm! Was someone's head on someone's shoulder? Was it JC on Joey's shoulder, or Chris on JC? This has been driving me crazy. It's like the video capture of Joey with his head on JC's shoulder, but I think I remember seeing more of a head bounce thing going on. It must have happened during a series of slashy moments and I just couldn't capture them all. Help a sister out, folks.

time back in

There wasn't one specific JoeC moment in particular, just lots of little ones. Well, except for the Chris/JC/Joey sandwich I mentioned in my first entry. That was so cute! Chris leaned against JC from his right, and he tried not to smile, but he finally lost it when Joey started leaning against him from his left; the lights faded to black just as he started laughing. They're having a lot of fun with this tour. I don't want it to stop!

5) Lots of TrickyKitten observed, but while Joey's still at that flirtation stage of infatuation, Chris has moved on to "I'm going to stay in your face until you want me, because you know you will eventually." Chris loves to tease JC, and I don't think it's because he knows that JC is an easy target for his jokes, I think it's because he likes seeing JC laugh. Not the laugh so much as the way JC looks when he's laughing, all helpless and gorgeous.

Now, as much as I believe that Lance and Chris could actually be a couple (oh, I hear people laughing), Chris wouldn't mind a little one-on-one with Chasez. Ain't no such thing as TimberTrick, kids, 'cause Chris is with Lance, and JC's his favorite daydream.

6) TimberTrick. OK. These two are cute to watch together. No one moment slaps me in the head, but it was obvious that they're very close friends.

Man, that was the lamest observation yet, wasn't it? Moving on.

Wait! I forgot, there was a kind of moment. It was pretty damn funny, too, and I'm sure it's been immortalized elsewhere.

Jesus, this is where I pull out my half-working memory. During the talking bit, Chris was babbling about something and messed up. He apologized, and Justin said (not word for word because, you know, my memory):

Justin: And that's what we call an "oops."

Chris: (sings softly) "Oops, he did it again..."

The crowd roared. Much applause, screaming and laughter. I didn't even check the other guys' reactions because I was watching Justin. He kind of bit his lip, and the look on his face was somewhere between trying not to laugh and trying not to say, "I'm gonna kick your ass later, fucker."

Chris: "Uh oh, I've done it now."

At this point Justin grinned (looking a little embarassed) and smiled and kind of backed away to get himself together. But before he did...

Justin: "Yeah, you did it, all right."

...as he was walking away, then he came back and took a huge bow. The crowd went wild.

Wonderful moment. I can just imagine Justin getting Chris in a headlock backstage after, and all of them laughing and rubbing Justin's head, then having a group hug. Squee!

I love the way men support each other. ;-)

And that ends this last segment of specific concert memories.

One-off thoughts:

Chris worked his Ohio angle, big-time. Enough with Wayne County! I swear I think he said it about 75 times. Cute the first few times, but annoying as it wore on. I'm so, so envious of people who actually got to hear/see JC story cuteness. Unfortunately, Chris had downed a case of Mountain Dew or something, and Would. Not. Shut. Up. Went on far too long. It went on so long that I honestly thought they weren't going to do JC's note.

But he did! And he nailed it! Jesus God, that man can sing like nobody's business. JC!

And speaking of JC, Do Your Thing! That voice! If he doesn't do some kind of solo vocal work, it'll be a friggin' shame, and a real loss.

I loved the choreography for Girlfriend the first time I saw it; it's definitely my favorite of their numbers, so sly and slinky and sexual. I love it, and it gets better everytime they do it. They are the sexiest men on Earth. If Girlfriend contained a Diva Hips move...well, it would be weird, come to think of it.

Divahips! I saw it live! Chasez nearly killed me, even though I was sitting back in row DD! The man's pelvis should be cloned. And yes, I'm first in line.

And the hand-holding at the end made me smile. I love the way that JC and Justin always end up holding hands, no matter how far apart they start. I watched JC as he began his usual post-concert bouncing around, and he was zipping and zooming back and forth doing his little JC thing.

So JC's zipping around, they're all slapping hands in the pit, saying their goodnights, and I'm waiting to see if they'll make the effort, or just clutch the hands they're closest to.

HA! My boys are in love and they proved it. At the end of all that wandering around, Justin ended up crossing the stage so he could join JC at the other side and take his hand. I'm smiling now, thinking of it. They sooo love each other. You want to talk about theirloveissopure, let's talk a little Joshtin.

I love them!
