Pissed off...and fic pimpin'!

Just realized that with two of my co-workers out of town for a conference, I won't be able to take off the day of NSync's show. ARGH! This means a day at work (possibly a half day, if the boss lets me), and then rushing home to get changed and then fight traffic down to the venue. Color me pouting. :-(

Yes, I have it better than a lot of people who won't get to see the show for one reason or another, but, but, but...it's my journal and I'll pout if I want to. This also means that I won't be able to take off the following day to recover, like I did last time - which was sorely needed! Waaaaaaaaaaah! Yes, I know it's hard to work up sympathy for me, but that's ok. Le sigh. I'm going to run the half-day scenario by the boss tomorrow and see if it flies. Pray for me.
