Zoo Magazine UK review!
Apr. 7th, 2004 05:37 pmDon't remember seeing this one yet. Courtesy of Manda2119 in this post at the JJB - no funny name! My brain's still fried from work, can't be clever just yet. ;-)

JC Chasez, Schizophrenic (Jive)
He "chasez" skirt
What's the story?
Timberlakes's innuendo pop sounds like kids stuff next to this filthy offering from fellow N*syncer Chasez.
Why buy it?
He sings about wanking, lezzers and how much sex he has in a funky style that sounds like Prince had he not become a jazz-experimental God-botherer.
How many decent songs?
Thirteen out of 17. Just say no to the ballads.
The bottom line.
Playboy for the ears.
**** out of 5
Why oh why, do the ballads get no love!? Still, four out of five stars! Go, boy.

Date: 2004-04-07 03:16 pm (UTC)What!? Blasphemy!!! 'Dear Goodbye' is growing on me, but I loved 'Lose Myself' and 'Build My World' from the very first spin. You're a heathen, but I'll give you points for liking JC. ;-)

Date: 2004-04-08 01:27 am (UTC)I'm not surprised the 20 year old males over here don't like balads. Let's be honest, all they really like is "Wanking, lezzers and sex" they're not exactly a sophisticated bunch lol.
But that kind of support here? That means us Brits don't just think he's cute (although he is!) it means we think he's cool. And actually talented. I've yet to see him on a show over here where they haven't commented on his talent. Over here if you're as hot as JC but the boys still like you. You've made it.
He's well on his way to major success here. If he's cute, cool and actually any good. We'll love him.
Plus the lesbian stuff doesn't hurt lol.
(Is it wrong that I still want him all to myself tho? lol. I want him to be a success but I kinda liked it when he was our little secret over here)
