Oy. Chicago's the mecca of the tour for us midwest LJ-ers, it seems. But here's the thing. I need a new roof. Pittsburgh is closer and cheaper. WAAAAAH! For once, though, time off work won't be a problem. Told the boss lady on Monday that I want time off sometime in early May. So yay! That's cool. We even chatted about how nice it is to meet up with friends. ;-) So.

What I need to do is put the costs down side by side and then make a decision. Yes. Here goes.

I don't want to sound like a scary stalker freak, here, but yeah. I'm going to Chicago, and WEE! JC. But as I told Gale and Dacey, "I'm really more excited about shaking the hand of the girl who wrote Chasez Lake."

But seriously, though. I know the boat you're in. You want to go to Chicago, but Pittsburgh makes more sense, but NO! You have to go to Chicago!

I usually end up going to the one I HAVE to go to. Even if I'm poor and not eating and walking everywhere to conserve gas, but that's just me, and I don't have my priorities straight. LOL

But I still vote for Chicago.

Bwahahaha! And I'll be shaking the farm!boys author's hand! FARMBOYS! What we need is a farm!boys walking tour of Chicago. Oh my god, I love that town.

Our house needs a new roof, that's why I'm hesitant to go where I *really* want to go, which is Chi. But Sai's made a generous offer that'd put cash back in the roof fund, and I'd still be able to make the trip. Eeeeeee!!! :-)

Sorry to butt right in here and ask - where is the Farmboys! posted? I know I read some of that a while back...and I think I need to read some more ;)
