Miami, FL – (February 26, 2004):DanceStar USA - The American Dance Music Awards announces stellar performances for this year’s show on March 9th at Bayfront Park Amphitheater in downtown Miami. Live acts include a worldwide exclusive collaboration with Perry Farrell, Moby, Paul Van Dyk, known together as Precision Guided Musicians, performing a new electronic interpretation of the Lou Reed classic, “Walk on the Wild Side.” Additional acts include Blue Man Group performing Donna Summer's massive hit “I Feel Love”, The Crystal Method, who have been nominated for five DanceStar awards including Best Act, Best Album, Best Single and Best Video, and Motorcycle,nominated for Best Single for their dance hit, “As the Rush Comes”.

Former Baywatch beauty, Carmen Electra, will host the world’s largest televised electronic music event alongside a strong cast of celebrity presenters including Paris Hilton, Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction, Dave Navarro, Yoko Ono, Jaime Pressly, Boy George and Moby, plus the world’s leading DJs.

Diddy's debut dance performance at DanceStar in 2003, we feel this will be one of the key events for the electronic community in 2004. Sirius Satellite Radio will be broadcasting a unique evening program live and backstage from this year’s show, featuring world premier interviews with the award winners and featured celebrity personalities.

With an increased contingent of credible A-list music stars coming forward to participate in DanceStar USA, this year’s show promises to be the most spectacular to date and highlights how DanceStar USA – The American Dance Music Awards has become the most significant launchpad for mainstream talent wanting to break into this music genre.

To support this year’s show DanceStar USA will launch the first annual magazine of The American Dance Music Awards. The 100-page pocket-sized publication will represent the best in American dance music from the past year. Produced by DanceStar’s Ben Turner, founder and editor of Muzik and Pacha magazines, over 60,000 copies will be distributed free in Borders stores nationwide from March 1st. A further 20,000 copies will be distributed in South Florida during the annual Winter Music Conference week.
