Man, how much does this suck? A friend asked if I had any photo-editing software - she wanted to do something fun with her family photos. I have four or five different things, and let her borrow the CDs. One of these, I'm pretty sure, was a high-end graphics suite that came bundled with my last computer. And by high-end I mean $600.00 bucks on the company website.

Guess which disks she didn't return and I can't find? ARGH!!!! She's looked for them a couple of times, and I've looked through my stuff. Unfortunately, I can't remember if I actually gave her the software or if I *thought* about it but didn't. I'm almost positive I gave it to her with the rest of the stuff. Crap. Crap, crap and crap. And I know she didn't steal it, that's not even a concern. I do wonder though, if one of her toddlers pulled it off the computer table and she just didn't realize it. :-( I should just give it up and stop thinking about it.

Waaaaaah!

Can you claim on your house insurance? If it was a legit copy, you might well be able to.

Hmmmm, I hadn't thought of that. I'll pop over to the website and see what's involved. Thanks!

Um. Well, technically I have quite a lot that I *could* post. However, if I do, I'm pretty soon going to hit the place where I introduce a new thread that I don't yet have a satisfying resolution for. And if that plot thread turns out to be ultimately unresolvable, then to take it out again I'll have to rewrite a huge, huge amount of text. By huge, I mean 35000-40000 words. This would suck for me, but it would suck a lot more for the readers who'd have to forget the first version.

OTOH, maybe the fear-fuelled adrenaline from posting it would kick me into thinking of a way to resolve the plotline. I was hoping to post at least something this weekend.

Fear-fuelled adrenaline is a very good thing. Post! And if I'm being too nosy feel free to smile and back away...is it still JuC flavored?

No, seriously. There is still JuC flavour. Actually, it's more a trckyfish-JuC sundae, with a couple of sauces from the past and some, um, weirdness sprinkled on top. There may also be whipped cream.

Hmm. I think my metaphor is broken.

Oooh, trickyfish! I'll have thirds, please! Trickyfish is my second favorite pairing, so yes, I'm in heaven. :-)

And now I'll be a good little fangirl and go squee quietly in the corner. squee!

Oops! I'm being rude. My last comment should have read: "Yes, please post!" More encouraging and courteous and less of the poky rudeness. ;-)
