Vampire Diaries...it's back.

foxmonkey ...except not. No Bonnie this week, which is NO FUN. It's a high time in Cougartown this episode, with the mothers and aunts and other cougarly types prowling around saying witchy things and generally getting their grope on with the males of the village.
The first half is pretty boring, actually. Damon is the highlight, being drunk and not caring about life anymore what with the revelation about Katherine and all. On a shallow note, seeing Damon shirtless in low-slung pants is quite a treat. He is spectacularly yummy and so beautifully evil. He's also kinda psycho.
Elena continues to be boring, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to hate the whole love triangle thing they're supposedly setting up.
The second half of the show definitely made up for the lame second half! Hooray, it's vampires-a-gogo! Seriously though, this lack of Bonnie is pissing me off. ;-p
