Woohoo! Successfully altered my colors to better suit my world view - or at least my ideas of LJ beauty. This is a bigger deal than you'd think, because I had no idea what I was doing. :-D
That took care of my urge to do a little HTML'ing. Now I'm in an icon kinda mood, so I'll be cruising the net for pics. Or writing! Or reading! Anyway, just a gratuitous LJ re-styling post. Off to play in the traffic of the information superhighway...

Date: 2002-06-01 06:38 pm (UTC)Also, this is a cool little thing I use when I want to change colors:
http://www-students.biola.edu/~brian/csapplet.html
It lets you see how the colors look together, which is nice.

Date: 2002-06-01 07:04 pm (UTC)Here's a cool little tool that's handy when you've found a color online and want to know the codes to duplicate it. It's called Csamp. It's a tiny download, about 32K, I think. You click and drag crosshairs over the desired color, and voila! The codes, both rgb and hex, are given.
I love Martha Stewart's product colors (hey! stop laughing!), so I usually go to her site when I'm craving inspiration. The colors are so creamy and deep. Good stuff.
Go download Csamp! You'll love it!

* Aylex is back home in the deep South and now feels the need to use Southernisms like crazy.

Date: 2002-06-01 07:07 pm (UTC)Hey, is Everything on permanent hiatus? I'll stop asking now.
Loved your fairy tale; are you working on the next part? ::poke, poke::
Whereabouts in the south? I have relatives in Virginia.

Date: 2002-06-01 09:23 pm (UTC)I'm in Alabama which is one step up from Mississippi. ;) And I am working on the next part of my fairy tale but I've started my summer job and have a few shorts that seriously need to be worked on. And then there's greek!sync. That's my baby. We'll see how long it takes to update.

Date: 2002-06-02 12:30 am (UTC)Oh, I thought sinse you LOVE JC sooooo muchly, you'd LOVE this site: http://churchofjcchasez.com/ There are some GREAT, and ohso bootyful pics there, yes. :-)
I think it's by FAR one of the BEST JC centric sites I've ever seen. But alas "Doesn't care for him (Justin) much" [sniffle] I'd think it WAS the best JC site, if there wasn't so much Justin hate-age. :-P
