HOLIDAY POPSLASH!

Does anyone know/has anyone heard/is anyone coordinating the annual popslash Christmas swap-a-thon? I've missed the last couple, and I don't want to miss out this year.

Help a sister out, folks.

Last year, sign ups didn't start until the end of October. sesa_discuss would have the scoop, if it's going on, I'd imagine. eponymous ran it last year, but she hasn't been around (posting in her own journal, at least) this year.

I don't think it's been announced yet, but there's a community for it--sesa_discuss. I've been wondering the same thing myself. It seems like it's that time again...

Every year, sign ups have been happening later and later, and fewer and fewer people have been doing it. Eponymous and APetsLife do it, but I haven't seen E around at all, and haven't seen Pet mention pop in ages. My friends and I have been speculating on if it'll even go on for or after this year. I wish it would continue, but enthusiasm seems to be dwindling.

I've definitely noticed shrinking popslash interest on my friends list, sad to say. I'm feeling a bit adrift lately. :-(

Well, I'll take a look at the SESA discussion journal mentioned above, and see what's going on. If it's going to be the last one, we can go out with a bang. :-)

Yep, you should join sesa_discuss and wait for an announcement. I really hope it happens again this year. Not that I write, but it gives me a lot of stories to read during the christmas holidays! It's still the biggest popslash challenge by far, with more than 80 participants last year. And if they won't organize one, I'm sure somebody will. :)
