Project Runway winner!
Oct. 19th, 2006 03:13 amJeffrey, which honestly, I think we could have seen coming from the very first show. I HATE JEFFREY! Sorry for that outburst. ;-) Ah well, another season over.
I'd really like to see new judges next year, or maybe one permanent judge (who isn't Nina Garcia or Michael Kors), and two guest judges each week. I really loved that tonight's guest judge tonight brought in a non-annoying fresh perspective (unlike the absolute DOOFUS who loved Santino's craptacular trainwreck of a jumpsuit last season).
More tomorrow. I'm recovering from a day and a half of sick time at home (yay!). I couldn't breathe yesterday, so I left work about three hours early. I always have sinus problems when the seasons change, but the added fun of the furnaces being turned on for the first time in a few months - yikes! Throat still hurts a bit, but I'll survive. And now, Top Chef season premiere. Yay!
Awww, Harold from last season is judging the first challenge! He's so cute. I love Harold. Dood, he's *attacking* that food!

Date: 2006-10-19 04:37 am (UTC)Overall, I'd like to have seen Laura win, I thought she was the most consistent, but I do get where the judges were coming from with her not having any variations or whatever. (Except, wow, Chole's collection of all prom dresses won last year.) But man, she makes amazing evening wear and her work is so detailed and really pretty, even if that's not exactly your style.
I hated Jeffrey. And I wonder how much of it was him really being an ass and how much was editing and stuff, because Uli really seemed to like him a lot, and she seems like such a great person, I can't see her just liking someone who's that much of an ass. Although, he should have been gone during the mom challenge, half the challenge was making for your customer and he didn't do that at all.
And wow, this is long, but in my opinion, if they're juding on just this collection, Uli should have won, but based on production through the show, I liked Laura a lot.
