Project Runway winner!
Oct. 19th, 2006 03:13 amJeffrey, which honestly, I think we could have seen coming from the very first show. I HATE JEFFREY! Sorry for that outburst. ;-) Ah well, another season over.
I'd really like to see new judges next year, or maybe one permanent judge (who isn't Nina Garcia or Michael Kors), and two guest judges each week. I really loved that tonight's guest judge tonight brought in a non-annoying fresh perspective (unlike the absolute DOOFUS who loved Santino's craptacular trainwreck of a jumpsuit last season).
More tomorrow. I'm recovering from a day and a half of sick time at home (yay!). I couldn't breathe yesterday, so I left work about three hours early. I always have sinus problems when the seasons change, but the added fun of the furnaces being turned on for the first time in a few months - yikes! Throat still hurts a bit, but I'll survive. And now, Top Chef season premiere. Yay!
Awww, Harold from last season is judging the first challenge! He's so cute. I love Harold. Dood, he's *attacking* that food!

I'm really pissed about Project Runway. Anyone but him. He's too mean to be allowed to win.
I didn't like him to start, but the mom challenge completely did it for me. His only saving grace is that he seems to truly adore his kid. Other than that, he's an asshole.
I wish that Michael hadn't stumbled so terribly. What the hell was he thinking? That collection was straight out of Kimora Lee Simmons' closet. Just...ugh.

I don't know what happened with Michael. He regressed. He was too busy dating Brandy during that 2 months when he should have been working, maybe. Half way through, he only had 1 garment made. I really like Uli, but I think sometimes that my like was more for *her* than for her clothes. I'm sure all 3 of them will go far now.
I know that the designers should be judged on the clothes and not their personalities, but the producers *have* to know that they're risking alienating fans by allowing such a polarizing contestant to win. The bad guy is not supposed to prevail!

I agree, same here. I liked her, but her clothes didn't really blow me away. And she was TOTALLY robbed in the mom challenge - that outfit was beautiful! I honestly think the producers wanted Vincent to win one so that he'd be a shoo-in for that "wow, look who's back!" crap.

It's the same crap with Santino last year. All those crappy creations they let him get away with...it made me crazy! I couldn't believe it when he made it to Fashion Week. ::grrrrrrr::

At least his collection showed some sense of elegance. Not Laura's level, but something. It was different and showed a different variety. Can't say that with Jeff much. Personally, as much as I hadn't been impressed with her, I thought Uli was robbed. She had the best collection, I think.
