LOL @ the tornado sirens... everytime Vicki comes here she freaks out because there's a fire station right down the street and whenever there's a fire they blare the siren and she thinks it's the tornado sirens.

LOL! I can sympathize! Have you ever been here during a tornado watch/warning? I swear, you haven't lived until you've experienced 50 MPH winds, a weird, pinkish-orange sky, tornado sirens *and* the weird tornado PA system guy announcing "SEEK SHELTER" in his booming 'voice of God' way.

I hate to sound so geographically ignorant, but is your area tornado prone?

Nope, never been there during one. I wouldn't say we are "tornado prone" but we do have our share of tornado warnings. We don't have a guy coming over a PA system though! LOL

Freakiest. Thing. Ever. EVER. Imagine a tornado siren, but instead of a siren it's some guy with a deep voice booming: SEEK SHELTER. SEEK SHELTER. I nearly crapped my pants the first time I heard it (awakened from a sound sleep at like, 2:30 in the morning!). FREAKY!
