Cruised LJ a little at lunch, and read [livejournal.com profile] chased_amy's post about The Reel Nsync. I haven't watched it for a while, so when I got home, I watched 'Da Do Run Run,' and a few other segments. That led to the Pop Odyssey DVD, which led me here.

There's something about concerts that just makes me...want. Want a life that I'll never have, at least not this time around. Maybe in my next incarnation, who knows. ;-) Anyway, I started thinking, started feeling a little melancholy about missing the boys, and thought I'd repost this for anyone feeling the way I am about this looooooong hiatus.

I wrote this last March for the Slash-Across-America project, and it's dedicated to every fan who's ever yearned for the celebrity life and the celebrities who live it. Inspired in part by a LiveJournal entry by [livejournal.com profile] nemoinis.

And yes, it's slash. ;-)

Beauty. Queen.

Nice.

I'm kinda speechless.
I think I liked how you didn't make them fuck the girls right there and then leave 'em out in the cold (not taking them on the bus). Well, who knows what really goes on, but I liked your version.

And, of course, the last paragraph was pretty cute.

That's the thing, isn't it? You see all the chicks that are picked to go up on stage, all the various hoochies wandering around in waaaaay skimpy clothes and too much makeup, and you just wonder. I do, anyway. I'm sure that 99.99% of them don't get much more than what's in the story. The other fraction of a percent? Probably all end up in Joey's room. ;-)

Thanks for reading, and I'm glad you liked it.

Yes, I remember this one. It's very very good. Short and effective. Unirritating ofc pov. Rare, that. :)

This is really lovely. Short but biting and just really well done. I like your descriptions of each of the boys and the whole last two paragraphs are sharp and sweet. Thank you :)
