Cutting again for those who want to remain (hahaha!) unspoiled...

Did anyone notice the weird divot in JC's neck when he and Isaac were talking about JC!dummy's hair? It was right after JC said that it takes seven hours to get measured for the dummy. I've got it on freeze frame now, and it's pretty prominent. It almost looks like a scrape from a tongue depresser, because it's kind of rounded at the top, but longish. It's at least a couple of inches long - it disappears into his collar.

Did he have an accident? The only childhood thing I can remember him mentioning is when he jumped off the roof and broke his ankle.

Very weird. I thought at first it might have been a trick of the light against neck muscles/tendons or something, but no, it definitely looks like a scar of some kind, rather, the kind of depression that's left after a pretty serious scrape or surgery. Breny might have caught it in one of the screen caps. I'm not friended, so someone else will have to do the sleuthing...

I think it was light, and shadow and a pronounced tendon in his neck.

Do you have the file, I can upload to yousendit for you.

Nah, I DVR'd it so I've got it.

I thought it looked like a trick of the light at first, then the more I looked at it the more it looked like a scar or something - but not really a scar, more of a weird depressed area.

Okay, I checked it against the right side of his neck - which looks normal - and it's definitely different. Oooh! A mystery!

Thanks for the caps, babe! You can see what I'm talking about in the 3rd and 4th ones down. It really is an odd looking depression! In a perfect world, I'd be able to inspect the real thing, up close and personal. ;-)

Hey no problem! That way folks can inspect and see what you spotted. Maybe its just odd neck muscles? For whatever reason its there.

LOL yes--in a perfect world. Maybe the next time he appears somewhere it will be there. LOL or maybe go back to other photos and see if its there... *checks fashion week pics*

Yep, you can just barely see the edge of it. It also kind of reminds me (very, very, very faintly) of a skin graft scar.

God, Chris' dummy is so lifelike it's scary. JC's eyes - the real ones! - kill me every time. ::le sigh::

I wonder if the jacket was off being cleaned or something? Very odd to change the clothes, don't you think?

Chris--yes indeed--look at this pic-- if I didnt tell you it was a statue--wouldnt you think it was the real thing? As for Chris--just goes to prove-he's a real dude-- even his statue is truly real. As for the jacket--that is odd. It looked like all the other guys clothing looked real. Although they didnt show Lance, but it looks like Chris' figure is wearing some sort of sweater-still very cool

JCs eyes---GUH!

I noticed that while watching, too. And it's gotta be something recent (even if it isn't some sort of injury or scar, it could just be some new way his neck muscles are looking. That doesn't make sense, but do you know what I mean? As we get older, stuff looks different? I'm babbling, I'm sure), as we've never noticed it before in any of the gazillion bytes of footage we've watched.

Yay, it's not just me! I thought it was recent too, because I've never noticed it before either.

The right side of his neck looks normal, though. The tendon was stretching and it looked perfectly fine. That divot-y thing is just plain weird.

Or, really, maybe it's something that's been there all along, but because he's had the long hair for so long, we couldn't spot it?

Also, sometimes we just don't notice stuff like that. I have a faint red birthmark on my forehead. Dear friends who've known me for years will sometimes say "Oh, did you hit your head?" And I'm like "wha?" And they say "It looks like your forehead is all red." And I say, "Nope, that's been there since I was born." Then they feel horrible and unobservant. And I assure them that that happens all the time. :)

You know, I didn't even factor in the longer hair! Hmmm, I'll have to pop in the What's Going On? DVD, see if it shows up there.

This is obviously going to require some serious research! Hours of looking at photos and footage. It's a tough assignment, I know.
