Writing! Stuff that...*gasp!*...isn't JC!
Apr. 11th, 2004 06:12 pmI haven't written about writing in forever. I haven't looked at my fic "to do" list lately, and I need to. It needs updating in a big way.
I've been mostly offline today, working on something
scot_ty reminded me of yesterday. It's always been on the shortish side in my mind, which means that a lot of it has already been written. Well, maybe not a lot, but the meat of it. And a few minutes ago I kind of figured how I want it to end. I'm still not sure if this is *the end* end, though, so that plan might need revising a little later.
In ohter writing news, there's the 100 Ways challenge thingy I seem to have involved myself in (how do these things happen to me?). I've got an idea for that though, so woohoo!
There's the end of the lap dance story I started for JuC day...
There's the Get Harry Married challenge which I'd *love* to join, but I've got way too much on my plate as it is. Hmmm, I need to skip over and see if either of my pairings have been claimed yet. [Insert time lapse here for skipping off and back] Doesn't look like it's been updated, so I can't tell.
Watched some MTV today; I must have been on crack because I watched three episodes of Making the Band 2. Talk about a train wreck! Why Diddy doesn't shove his foot up a behind or two, I'll never know. Smoking in the recording studio? What the hell is that all about?
Saw a commercial for the new Divas thing. Jessica Simpson gets top billing? Sorry to anyone out there who like her, but, please. And Ashanti's a diva!? God help us.
Watched 'White Squall', which featured a bevy of young boythings, including Ryan Phillipe, Scott Wolf, Balthazar Getty and the darkly yummy Jeremy Sisto. Mmmmmmmm, Jeremy Sisto. Love, love, love his voice. ::le sigh::
Other than that, not much going on. And now, back to it!

Date: 2004-04-11 04:46 pm (UTC)And that's the *only* reason I watched it this afternoon. ;-)
It's funny though, that three of the main actors have faces I associate with other guys:
Scott Wolf = young Tom Cruise
Ryan Phillipe = LOL! La Timberlake
Balthazar Getty = young Charlie Sheen
I was heartbroken when they kicked Jeremy Sisto's character off the boat, though he needed to go.
