Janet Jackson to host 'SNL,' cross our hearts

Put the kids to bed early, because come April 10, Janet Jackson will host NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

It will be Jackson's first television performance since Feb. 1, when Justin Timberlake unleashed her breast during the halftime show at the Super Bowl.

Expect "SNL" gagsters to poke fun at Jackson and her breasts.

A few years ago, just as speculation swirled about Britney Spears' assets, producers had her appear on stage while her breasts grew, thanks to special effects.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck, another gossip magnet, will host the March 13 edition of
"SNL."

This week, actor Colin Firth is the host, with Norah Jones as the musical guest.

I thought that was a great idea, and went to their site, too. Unfortunately, as Candy said below, it looks like she's her own musical guest. It'd still be a scream if JC showed up as a surprise guest or something. It won't happen (because sadly, JC gets no love), but it'd be fabulous. ;-)

I read in another article that Janet's both host *and* musical guest for that episode. But he really should get on that show SOMEHOW soon.

I was all set to petition NBC and SNL! I guess Janet can't pass up the promo, though it wouldn't kill her to slide a little JC's way. ;-)
