Oh, what a great way to start off Halloween! I did not comment yesterday because if I'd written what I thought after being cut off at the end of part one (**WHAT?!?! What do ya MEAN there's no part 2?!**) . . . well, that'll teach me not to read the post carefully before I run gleefully to the story! Both you and Scotty did a wonderful job. Scotty, as always, created so much subtext in the text, and really showed all of the emotions boiling underneath everyone's actions. And you brought it home by putting those pairs together where they should be, dammit! And I'm glad you didn't make Tony a bad guy (and see, now I have a Tony song going through my head -- "make me out to be the bad guy . . . .").

Chris turned and followed Lance's arching eyebrow to the second floor, where Justin and JC finally emerged from Justin's room. He started to laugh. "Tell me he's not." Justin, at the head of the stairs, glanced in their direction and scowled when Chris laughed.

"Oh, but he is," Lance said. "I can't believe it still fits."

"It doesn't." And it didn't.

Had me going, and giggling, and cackling, and pounding table tops, because like—Justin would so wear that! Heeheehaw. Such lush images, baby!
