In a comment to my last post, the fabulously wonderful bitterchick spake thusly:

"And uh...when might we get to read this perfectly logical fic? ;-)"

Eek! Yes, I'd kind of forgotten that one of the points of this exercise was to post the fic in a shorter span of time than my usual. I started editing (and another point of this exercise is to edit only one or two times, and not twenty-six) this morning before work, but forgot to mail the thing to myself so I could work on it at lunch. And then...

Lord of the Rings! Bought the DVD yesterday, and popped it in when I got home this evening. Oooh! Legolas! I'd string that elf's bow anytime. Rawr! Anyway, no editing tonight because I've got to get up early in the morning.

But the experiment continues. JC's just asked Justin if he and Nelly are an item. I've got one or two more scenes in my head after this one, and then the ending that I still don't know what will be (TM).

Le sigh.

LOL! Just . . .LOL!!

I totally agree. Totally. And Aragorn! Getting hotter by the moment! The trailers for The Two Towers are Killing. Me.

It took all my willpower to keep from buying it on Tuesday, and only the thought of the four dvd disc set director's cut coming out in October reined me in. Whew. What a great movie.

Ohmygod! Yes, Viggo Mortensen was an *excellent* choice. Rugged but not too rugged, good-looking but not too pretty. He fit the image I had in my head, though he didn't necessarily match what I had in my head. Boromir was a good choice too; looks-wise, the casting was well done. They looked like kinsman, like they were of the same race, ditto for the elves.

Legolas! LOL, I can't seem to say anything else. :-D Oddly enough, thanks to Tarowen, probably, I kept imagining JC onscreen whenever elves were shown. Aiii, I think I just blew an ovary - I pictured him in the outfit, wielding a bow. Mmmmm.

Eek! I haven't watched the trailer yet! I couldn't believe I got my husband to watch the movie; what's more amazing is that he enjoyed it. What floored me is that he actually said that he can't wait for the next part. This is a man who has the stereo hooked up to the TV to enhance the sound of gunplay in his usual movie fare.

The DVD case is right here on my desk, so I'll probably load it up before I hit the bed tonight. Speaking of the DVD case, did you know that the leaf clasp on the elvish cloaks can be had for a mere 58 bucks? Guess who's reeeeeeally close to handing over her credit card.

Don't tell me that! No! Do not need four disc set! Must resist!

Had to ask how you liked the trailer for the two towers.

Yes, Viggo Mortensen was an *excellent* choice.

I totally agree and did you hear that the role originally went to Stuart Townsend? I can't see anyone but Viggo in it now. (sigh) And Legolas! (more sighs) I went to see the movie originally with the spouse and a group of friends, and the girlfriend on my right and I knocked our heads together at one point, when we both leaned over to each other to whisper "uhmm, elves are hot!" at the exact same time. ;)

Okay, for a minute there I thought we might be married to the same man. :) Mine loves movies, though - he's seen LOTR three times now (to my five) and doesn't mind that I cry my eyes out at Boromir's death scene every single time. :)
