Yea, verily, [livejournal.com profile] scot_ty spake the truth: there will be a new issue of STP this weekend.

JC...ahhhh. You know, I've been offline quite a bit but every time I see the Chasez I find I'm just as smitten as ever. There's just something about him. Those eyes, that face. The voice! He continues to own me.

Back to the foxmonkey!cave to work on STP. ::runs away::

Oh shit, dude, I totally forgot about this.

The webspace is paid up through sometime towards the end of October. I forgot to get you up to speed about this after you took over the domain.

Honestly, it has been so long since I did anything with the webspace that I can't even remember the user logon or anything like that. I don't know what the best way for you to renew the webspace is, but if I can log in to the cpanel and erase my billing information, and then you can log on and add yours in, maybe that will work.

If you want to go with another webspace provider, that is of course an option as well. It will take some time for the domain name to point to the new space and nunames charges $10 for each time you re-point.

I will be online tonight (IM - CatherineTheTemp) so hit me up if you get a moment. I'm going to be out of town Monday - Thursday so I will only be able to communicate via e-mail then.

Thanks!
Catherine

Okay, well I figured out the user id login and the password, so I went into the cpanel to see if there is a billing function, which there isn't. You have to pay them through paypal for the whole year and my own account is set up to pay them automatically upon every renewal. I have e-mailed sales to ask how to hook it into your account (should you choose to stay with them). It's set to take money out of my account on Tuesday. If we don't get this taken care of before then, that's fine, but that probably means that you'll have to send me a check, but if you're comfortable with my knowing your identity, then I am fine with vice versa.

If you choose to go to another webhost, I think I'll probably end up cancelling the current webhost subscription (www.hasweb.com by the way) and then there may be some downtime where the domain doesn't point anywhere, depending on the speed of the move. Everything in the domain will of course have to be downloaded and reuploaded into the new space.

Sorry to post this in your journal and with such a short timeline. I don't have ADHD but sometimes my disorganization seems to indicate otherwise.

I'll just stay with this web host, and I don't mind you knowing my sooper sekrit identity if it comes to that. ;-) Also, I could Paypal the amount to you, if that's an option...

Okay, cool, sounds good. I'm just waiting to hear back from hasweb right now about the most convenient way to switch over. And then it's all yours! (pause here for evil cackle)

They do have an option where you can pay with a credit card instead of going through hasweb (and they must not have had that a year ago, or I would not have gone through a conduit), but if you end up paying for it by the renewal date, it's confusing to me how they would know what account you're paying for. It should be a simple process, but for some reason they don't make it that way.

I will be in touch with you later (via e-mail ... I will be out on business and I don't check the slashy lj on my work laptop) to let you know how things evolve!

Hi Fox! I have e-mailed you a couple of times, but I haven't heard back from you so I don't know if I have the right address.

Hit me up at catherinethetemp@hotmail.com, okay?

Thanks!
Catherine
