I've been sick (again! AGAIN!) again, so I've been logging out early every night. Oy with the not feeling well! I think I'm finally human again, so here I am. :-D Yes, I know you're all thrilled.

In gossip seen around the schoolyard, it seems that MTV-US has said they'll play ADIDAS if it's a hit in Europe. Weh? Yeah, way to be on the cutting edge, MTV! They've become more corporate than the New York Stock Exchange. Jeebus. To that end I'm going to snag this next bit from stamplet and hope she doesn't hurt me:

TRL UK - we have to scroll to the bottom and type in the artist name and video title. I'm sure we can vote more than once, but I don't know what the vote limit is, if any.

Video-C - it's already #5 on the Video-C Weekly Top Ten (chart is on the right of the main page). You can click on the ADIDAS graphic to go to the ADIDAS page, then click on the "vote now" button. You do have to register before you can vote.

In even more interesting news, it also seems as though we might expect a second album. This fills me with squeeful joy that you can't even imagine. WAIT! You're all mostly JC fans too, so you probably *can* imagine. You're probably all filled with squeeful joy too! So yay! And I have four JC Month days to catch up on. I clearly suck.

In not-JC news, HEY, PRINCE OF TENNIS FANS!!! Can one of you tell me who Ryoma's friend is? Thanks!

Locked post about conversations overheard at various concerts. This person is trustworthy, and was posting from the road. I'm putting out feelers myself, 'cause I've seen nothing on my friends list. I checked out the JJB, but didn't see anything there either.

Until we see it from official sources it's not official, of course, still. There are JIVE reps running around and radio people and yes, things can be overheard. I'm taking it with TON of salt - as we've all learned to do in the last few months when it comes to JC! - still, like I said, reputable person posted the info. It's a wait and see at this point, I guess!

So I wouldn't be surprised if this stuff is true (or at least was actually overheard). :o) Of course, I hope the second album thing is true! Exactly. Which is why though I'm cautious (read = fan following the rollercoaster ride of JC's career), I'm still excited. How many times have we heard the most unlikely stuff that turned out to be true? JC touring with Brit comes to mind.

Of course, I hope the second album thing is true!

I'm doing catch up on the JC Month things, and the one I'm posting for Day Two is the day I got the album. I just reread the post before answering this and...god, I just started smiling remembering what a heady experience it was.

The album's been well-received by critics - surprisingly so in some circles - if not popularly, so I can't see why they wouldn't want to build on that. If it were anyone other than JC I'd say a second album was a given. See? There's that twice-burned cautiously limited optimism again. ;-)

As for the MTV one...the video is getting play over in Europe so if that is true, we probably will be seeing it here later.

Well, MTV's a big ol' eight-pack of wienies complete with buns and relish, so who knows what the hell they'll do. It'd be nice to see it on bigger screen - god, that crotch bump would probably knock me off the couch.

And Horio isn't really Ryoma's friend, but rather they just happen to be in the same class (both are first years). And yes, her icon does have chibi!Tezuka, the bucho (captain) of the Seigaku team.

It can be downloaded off of Bit Torrent, or I could send you a copy of of the first few episodes--I've got 31 CDs worth of episodes right now--but for right now I'd be willing to make you a copy of the first twenty or so episodes to get you started ^_^

Yes. That's Tezuka Kunimitsu, the captain of the Seigaku tennis club. (See current icon.) He's my favorite. Well, my favorite in the way that Chris is my favorite in the *NSYNC fandom. he's the one that makes me go SQUEE!!! each time I see him. Fuji Syusuke is my Lance, the one I go "Yes, Master! I am your humble and obedient minion! Command me!" to. Needless to say, Tezu/Fuji is my OTP.

If you haven't seen any of the episodes I really recommend that you do. This series isome of the best crack there is. :) And feel free to ask any more questions! (though I'm only up to episode 72.)

You're the second or third person who's mentioned Fuji as their favorite. I love the crack that is Kaidoh/Karupin (because I'm insane!). You can probably tell that the only ep I've seen - wait, I think I saw part of another one - is #27, Karupin's Adventure. Aaaaah! So cute! I saw a link somewhere for megabillions of the episodes on DVD. I think it was a hundred bucks, which is a bit steep. I'm going to do some poking around at the used CD/DVD store, see what I can find. :-)

$100 might not be too bad, actually, depending on the number of episodes you're given. If it is for the first three multi-disc sets of the HK sub, it's a very good deal.

Personally, I'm waiting for the new one to come out. I have to see the end of Ryoma/Sanada's match, damn it!

I had my last show of the year Thursday and had two other year-end things taking up my time. I had felt like writing, but never got around to it and this is the first I've been online since then, so the news of a second album hasn't really sunk in yet.

Eek. Did it sound that way? I thought of it as a string of silly questions with no intent other than to amuse. I continue to be flummoxed by the drama everywhere. Since that's where I spend my days, having it invade my nights is more than a little noxious. I'll use more restraint in the future. ;-)

Good lord, no. I tend to think of my own that way, no one else's, but even then I don't think it's a bad thing. :-)

I think we're all just taking stock, and I hope I didn't make it sound like anything other than that. Certainly nothing you have to watch in the future. I can't imagine an LJ filled with: "Writing. Yes, writing. Oh yeah, I went to the movies - no opinions there!"

Dude! Thank you for spreading the word about the voting! :-) And dotcitameteora says ADIDAS is available for voting on MTV Latin America's TRL site too. We're the only ones who are deprived of the checkered shoes and the salad tossing. *g*
